(Mia’s POV)
We had been making noise for a while now. We were getting tired so we paused before starting again. Kerwyn stopped as well and then we heard footsteps. Looks like our plan was working. My face dropped when I saw who came to our cell door.
“Ciel? What are you doing here?”
“I can ask you the same thing, Mia. How did you end up in there?”, he asked looking at me with wide eyes.
“I don’t actually know. Ciel this is Prince Ghari of the Eastern Kingdom and his Black Knight is in the other cell. We need to get out of here.”
He looked now at the large dragon male beside me and nodded. “Why are you wearing an oversized cloak?”
I looked down at myself and felt embarrassed under his stare. “You were there, weren’t you? You were the cloaked figure. s**t, Mia why were you there?”
“Listen, Ciel, I’ll explain everything when were are safely out of here.”
“Mr. Warlock, Please help us.”, Ghari spoke up trying to get Ciel to listen to us and help us out of the cell sooner than later.
“Do you know that Alincdor, Aziel, and Tre are currently above us ready to kill you? Why in heavens realm did you go talk to this dragon during the show.”, he responded to me not acknowledging Ghari.
“Don’t worry too much about the why at this time. The Prince needs our help and if those 3 are here then they must be behind all this and the Prince and his people can help us. They can help all of us. Think of Rayna and Marina and the others at the show. The Prince and his people could free us from this torture. Think Ciel!”, I responded while trying to hold back my tears. I didn’t want to be part of this sideshow anymore I wanted to be free.
He seemed to take my words to heart cause he responded by asking us to step back. With a small amount of magic, he summoned the key to our cell. I shared a look with Ghari and our plan was working out better than we could have imagined. I think the gods were taking favor with us because had it been anyone else that heard us yelling and screaming they probably would’ve harmed us instead of helping.
“Mia, before I let you guys out you need to know that Aziel is very powerful and he has been trying to get to you for a while now. I think Al knows your here because he tried to beat me just now. He had already beaten me when he thought you took off.”, Ciel spoke breaking us from our shared thoughts.
“s**t! Where are they now? Why does Aziel want me?”, I responded anxiously, now that it was confirmed that Al knew I was with the dragon.
“I don’t know why Aziel wants you but it’s because of him that you were cared for in the main house instead of the servant’s quarters. He unlocked our cell door and let us out. We walked over to Kerwyn’s cell and let him out. Now we needed to put the rest of our plan into action.
(Ghari’s POV)
After we had put the plan together to make noise and get our captor’s attention, I mind-called Cahir again to make sure his side of the plan was working out. He informed me that the northern dragon that disappeared 15 years ago had suddenly appeared at the cabin.
“Cahir, what are you talking about?”
“Yes, brother, Mitch saw him walk into the cabin. If he’s here then you and the others are in grave danger. I have managed to get a raven to father and he should be arriving soon with part of the royal army. Mitch and I are keeping an eye on the cabin and will inform you if there are any changes.”
With those last words, I returned to Mia and helped her make more noise. Shortly after taking a break, the warlock appeared before us. Mia and Ciel spoke about the need to get out of here and he confirmed to me what Cahir had said about Aziel and Tre. f**k!! Why were they involved with this human and this show. This definitely complicates things.
“Mr. Warlock, Please help us out of here”, I pleaded with him but he ignored me and continued to talk with Mia. He did conjure up the key and unlocked our cell door. This was better than the alternative of having to fight him or kill him. We rushed over to Kerwyn’s cell and freed him.
“Mia, you remember what I told you about heading towards the south tree line?”
“Yes, Ghari. I hope nothing has happened to your brother so he can help us.”, she said in response and I couldn’t hold myself back from hugging her.
“It’ll all work out. I promise to protect you and the others.” Thankfully she didn’t reject my hug and held me tightly around my waist. I’m falling for this female and she doesn’t even know me or herself for that matter.
“Ciel, do you think you can get her out of here without getting caught?”, I quickly let go of Mia and put my soldier face on.
He nodded and we followed him up the stairwell. Once at the top, he pointed in the direction of our captors and then chanted some words and disappeared. He and Mia would meet up with my brother and once there hopefully my father’s army would join them.
(Cahir’s POV)
After going over the plan one last time, I ended the mind-call with my brother. I checked in with Mitchell. “Did father send word back?”
“Yes, Prince. He will be here shortly with the royal army. He said that he will have one of the witches open a portal for them since it would be quicker.”
We had not flown or used a portal to avoid any suspicion from the locals but this time it was an emergency. I guess it was a good thing we were in the forest and no other human or creature would see us use a portal. Although they weren’t outlawed many creatures didn’t use them and thought they were evil. If they knew how efficient they were for travel they wouldn’t view them so badly.
“Did you ask King Father about Tre?”, I asked wondering if what I saw inside the cabin was just some hallucination.
“Yes, sir. The Royal Guards went to search for him and found that he was gone. He had had a conversation with the king about a disturbance in the Earth Kingdom and shortly after he left.”
‘f**k, I guess it really is him. Let Ghari know of this information. I will be preparing for the upcoming battle. We need to catch ourselves some rats.”
He bowed to me and I could see his eyes cloud over. This was not going to be easy, hopefully, my father brought enough warriors with him. I walked over to a small clearing and summoned my armor. The orange-red scales sprung forth like fire burning bright in the night sky. It felt good on my skin. It had been a while since I was in a battle. As I sparred with the invisible enemy I could hear a soft song in the distance. I paused to listen more carefully but it had disappeared. I chucked up to the wind and continued my preparations.
(Mia’s POV)
The four of us made it to the top of the stairwell and before we walked through, Ciel opened the door and peeked around the corner. He motioned us to come through the door and then he shut it quietly. He then motioned to Ghari where Aziel and Alincdor were. Ghari turned to me and hugged me tightly.
Letting go of me he spoke softly to Ciel, “Take care of her and get out of here now.”
Ciel did not hesitate. He took hold of my hand and with the other, he opened a portal. I took one last look at Ghari and followed Ciel through the portal.
Once we walked through we were outside the cabin facing the south side. Ciel looked around and then tugged me along as we made a dash for the tree line. We reached the tree line undetected thankfully. Now hidden from the cabin Ciel turned to me and asked the burning question, “What the actual f**k is happening, Mia? You got a lot of explaining to do little lady.”
I shrunk back a little and couldn’t look at him. “I’m sorry, Ciel. I was on my way back from the privy when I overheard Al talking to Dameion. They were planning to hurt the dragons and I had no other choice but to go and warn them. Before I could warn them, Dameion stormed in as a minotaur and attacked us. Then I opened my eyes again and I was in a cell with Ghari.”
He grabbed me into a tight hug, “I’m sorry you got caught up in all this. It’s my fault you’re here. I should have known it was you and not pulled you into the illusion but you were connected to the dragon and I couldn’t do anything about it. I also didn’t know it was you. You should know that no one else was hurt during the attack. It was all my illusion to get the dragons and put them in the cells for Alincdor.”
I pulled away from him and saw how sorry he was. I know he was just following orders. He had no reason to believe me anywhere near the dragons. I motioned us to get going and we started walking further into the forest. Suddenly before us appeared an elf man dressed in a black cloak and pointing an arrow at us.
“Who goes there? State your business or I will shoot.”, he said with a low growl.
“Are you Micthell or Cahir? I am Mia.” I said in response with as much confidence as I could muster. I held on to Ciel’s arm as if it would save me. He lowered his weapon and turned his back to us. We followed, hoping this was the knight or prince. I mean it had to be the knight, cause I hoped the second prince was a dragon, like his brother but one never could tell.
I could feel Ciel tense beside me as we followed the elf and when we got to a patch of thick oak trees Ciel put a protective arm around my shoulders. The elf paused and whistled. We heard the crunching of leaves and twigs, then a tall dark chocolate man appeared. He was just a little shorter than Ghari but still towered over me and Ciel. His eyes were a light blue that resembled the cloudless sky with just a hint of red fire dancing in the center. His hair looked kissed by the sun and lay in curls all the way down to his shoulders. He had a band pushing it back and it caused it to add about a foot to his height. He was very handsome and reminded me of Ghari but not as gorgeous.
“You must be Mia and Ciel.”, he said bringing me back from my thoughts.
“Yes, we are. Are you Cahir?”, I said in a soft voice because my throat suddenly became dry from fear. What if these males are not with Ghari. I held onto Ciel even tighter and he adjusted himself to be in a more protective stance.
“No need to fear. I am Cahir, You may call me Ca, and this is my knight, Mitchell.”
I loosened up on Ciel but we kept our distance from them just in case. Mitchell was a male of very few words. He was about my height but the air around him was still very intimating. He tried to smile but it looked more like a grimace than a smile. I smiled back and Ciel stayed emotionless. I couldn’t read him at all. He was like a big brother to me and I was more than glad that he was on my side.
Cahir motioned for us to sit around the fire and make ourselves comfortable if that was possible. They went to scout the edge of the tree line to make sure we were not followed. Ciel leaned stiffly against a tree and I leaned against him. I silently prayed to whoever would listen that we could all get out of this alive.
(Alincdor’s POV)
I opened my eyes to see a plain wooden roof. The beams crossed each other and overlapped as if to form a road map. This was not my bed-chamber. I tried to move but my arms were tied down. My back ached and my head began to pulse. f*****g assholes. I’m strapped to the torture table.
“I see your back with us, good I’ll inform the king.”, Dameion stood above me with a devilish grin.
I couldn’t lift my head but I heard him step out of the room and a few minutes later the door opened and 3 sets of footsteps could be heard coming into the room.
Tre was the first to show his face, “I hope you learned your lesson, Al. It’s not easy keeping my sister protected while I punish you.” I stared at him blankly. I could care less about that useless female. She was only ever good for a f**k in the beginning and even then it was hard to be pleased by her. I could taste blood in my mouth so I spit it into his face. He let out a girly kind of scream and punched me in the gut. I grinned internally despite the pain because I knew he ran out of the room and was probably puking his guts. He hated blood that’s why his choice was always some type of poison.
“I see you’re as lively as ever, even though you’re at my mercy.”, Aziel spoke deep and stiffly into my ear. I attempted to move again but the leather straps were tight and unmovable.
“Why do you have me on this table? I demand to be let go. I’ll tell you what you want to know but you need to un-enchant me from Helyma. Allow me to take the werewolf Rayna and let me be done with this stupid show.”
He laughed loud and long. Then he grabbed my face and spit out, “How dare you make any demands of me. You should not have taken my chosen mate by force then maybe I would not have forced her to be tied to you. You will give me the information I demand and maybe I’ll let you leave here alive. I may even be generous enough to leave you with your manhood.”
He forcibly let go of my face slamming my head into the table. I grunted in frustration. I had no other choice but to give in to his demand. If I didn’t have my manhood I might as well be dead. I should’ve left Helyma be but I didn’t know she was promised to the demon king nor did I know I would get enchanted to her. I just saw good p***y and wanted to taste it at least once. I guess the forbidden fruit isn’t always sweeter.
I could see him walk over to the table that had all his tools laid out. He grabbed a metal tool and walked back to my side. “Now are you going to cooperate and tell me why the princes from the Eastern Kingdom are here and where the f**k is Mia?”
He place the metal device on my manhood and squeezed it lightly. It was enough for a tear to fall from my eye and I grunted in pain.
(Aziel’s POV)
I placed my favorite tool around Alincdor’s manhood and tightened it just enough to hurt him but not harm it all the way. I knew this body part was his favorite. I should have killed him years ago when he raped Helyma and caused me to enchant her to him as punishment to both of them. I had told her not to roam the human realm without an escort and she didn’t listen. He had found her in the fields looking for herbs and had desired her.
“Do we have an understanding?”, I said to Al, as I tightened the tool a little more. He nodded and a tear escaped his eye.
“You can start with who Rayna is and why the Princes are here.”
“Rayna is an alpha’s daughter that once she shifts I could claim her sexually and then keep her as my s*x slave. I didn’t know they were the princes. I’ve never seen them before. I don’t keep up with those stupid dragons.” I slapped him hard for calling us dragons stupid. He then continued, “Mia is in the dungeons with the dragons. I only found out when I went to go torture the dragons and overheard them speaking. I do not know how she got there or why. You want to go ask that f*****g warlock and demon what they did to bring Mia here.”
I loosened the tool but left it on him whIle I went to go verify what he said. If Mia was really here then I would move her to my dungeon in Hell city so that no one could touch her or lose her again.
I walked out of the room and as soon as I walked out I heard Tre yell for me to run. I looked in his direction and saw that Ghari was holding him against the wall and the Black Knight had his body frozen. f**k I guess I’ll have to change plans again. I opened a portal and left before Ghair had a chance to catch up to me.
