Kimnoth's nerves begin to race. A presence was near, An Evil penetrates the air.

"What on earth is that stench", James proclaims loudly with disgust clearly written on his face as he gags from the vile smell wafting through the air.

"Shhh boy" Kimnoth hushed james with his finger to his lips with a stern concerned look burrowed into eyes. "A smell like that can only mean one thing boy!, Larkin beasts be near".

James stands frozen in fear as he notices a puddle of water ripple as the earth beneath them begins to tremble. The trees begin to rustle in the distance As the beast begins to move in on them .

"ah old Wizard dude! exactly how big is a larkin? James asks terrified as fear rips through him.

Kimnoth whips out his wand and smirks. "boy your about to have the ride of your life".

The Larkin beast emerges from the shadows of the forest. The earth vibrates from every step of its massive body. The beast is nothing more then a troll, a huge gigantic stinky massive troll. that stands as high as 20 men.

The beast stands for a moment then smirks an evil smirk. "Kimnoth prepare to die", The beast roared with a load fierce tone. "I Shall enjoy eating you and your little friend".

Kimnoth quickly points his wand at the beast and commands his wand, "Freeze".

The larkin beast is motionless from Kimnoth's spell. except for his eyes as they roll around in its socket.

"Run boy Run, we don't have much time!". Kimnoth demands, "Spells don't last long on larkin beasts we must seek out a large body of water and fast".

James and Kimnoth run quickly trying to gain distance from the beast . James struggles to keep up with the wizard as Kimnoth moves through the forest with ease.

"Damn you know for a 180 odd year old man you sure are spry". James jokes observing his struggle to keep to Kimnoth.

"Boy No time for jokes, Push yourself harder" Kimnoth says in a bid to push James harder to move faster.

The ground once again begins to tremble This time more fiercly then before.

"Uh Kimnoth I think you might of pissed him off". James yells out, suddenly finding the inspiration to push himself to run along side Kimnoth as fear and adrenalin peeked within him.

THUD THUD THUD the earth shook from underneath their feet as they both struggle to keep themselves balanced.

The beast has almost caught up to them as James starts screaming in fear , eyes wide and more alert then he has ever been before.

"Freeze him Freeze him" James yells to Kimnoth. The beast mear metres away.

"Not yet" Kimnoth yells back, "Quick this way boy". Kimnoth directs James to head north east. As the smell of water becomes more clearer.

As the forest becomes ever increasingly denser Kimnoth new there was definitely a river near by.

"I can't wait to Kill you!" The Larkin beast yelled . His voice so loud it vibrated through the density of the forest. The beast brang down trees and destroyed everything in his path In his bid to get to his victims.

Kimnoth could hear the water Fairies coo of incoming danger. He knew he was very close to the impending river he was hoping for.

"boy!" Kimnoth yells out with a serious look on his face "When we get to the waters edge What ever you do ,do not Jump into the water".

As the beast ferociously continued to hunt them down like the bloodthirsty beast he was, Kimnoth knew his plan had to be executed with precision.

"When I say go boy!, move right you hear me!" Kimnoth demands. As the river now becomes within sight.

James knod's his head in confirmation. James feels like something has awakened within something he could not explain. Fear no longer seemed to no longer exist within his mind was clear , his heart no longer pounding from running . everything seemed clearer, Everything felt easier.

Everything was moving so quickly. The waters edge came upon us both before we knew it.

"GO" , Kimnoth yelled. He whipped his wand out and stood still off to the side of the path we were running. "Charminoring", He called out as A blue spark shot out of the tip of Kimnoth's wand and entered the water.

I looked on in amusement to the sight I was seeing. Billions of Water fairies rise from the water. The water looked like it had turned into crystals glittering with a spectacular beauty, one had to see to believe.

The larkin Beast trailed quickly behind us meeting us at the waters edge. He was seemingly stunned for a moment as to why we stopped running.

He looked up to the water and fear was seen his eyes. He knew he was done for, He knew we out smarted him .

They screamed a mystical sound No one could ever understand. A pitch so high it could deafen you. Kimnoth and James drew their hands to their ears to muffle the sound.

The larkin beast could not move. He was stiff as board from the charm spell the water fairies cast upon him.

James watched on in bewilderment as the fairies collapsed the earth beneath the larkin. His massive body spilled effortlessly into the water. Kimnoth and James watched on as the water ate away at the larkins flesh as if the water took on a life of its very own.

As more and more of the larkin disappeared, The more the crystal looking water disappeared.

James shook his head in disbelief as the last of the Larkin vanished. The water had returned back to Normal. and The billion waters just vanished as quickly as they appeared.

James quickly looks over at Kimnoth.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT! ", James yells out Shocked and in disbelief ."I am amazed and like wow....but still WHAT THE HELL!! ".

Kimnoth glances over at James and smirks.

"Well you could call it an negotiation towards a mutual means to an end".

"Dude That Doesn't tell me what the hell just happened", James declared frustrated.

"Hey by the way did you put your weird mojo spelly thing on me while we were running ?".

The Question suddenly peaks Kimnoth's attention. "Boy why do you suggest such a thing ", Kimnoth asks curiously.

"Well you had to of, Because Everything suddenly seemed extremely different, I could run faster and everything was clearer, I could breath effortlessly......, Anyway you know damn well what you did. I don't know why I am explaining it ". James says annoyed. James picks up a loose rock from the bank and tosses it hard into the water. A water fairy instantly pops up from the water with a furious look on its face causing James to flitch .

Kimnoth bursts into laughter. "boy you have much to learn". Kimnoth walks over to James and places his hand on his shoulder. "They cute looking at all but they can ferocious little beasts if you disturb them".

"Yeah I gathered as much" James replies as he nervously looks over the waters surface.

"By the way" Kimnoth continues, "You had an moment of enlightenment, you will have more its the way of the dragon". Kimnoth exclaims as he casually starts walking back to the path in the forest.

"WHAT? " James asks as he hurries to catch up. "Way of the Dragon... enlightenment... What on earth are talking about old man? ".

All in good time boy, All in good time", Kimnoth casually says as he walks along.

To James's frustration and curiosity there wasn't much he could do about it.

As they head deeper into The forest Kimnoth announces they will stay the night in a hidden little village.

Many new adventures are just around the corner. James will discover even more of the world he never knew existed.
