Chapter 26 it's beginning to look alot lile Christmas

SEAN'S POV

"Yes mum, I'm not lieing Summer really said she would give me one more chance, but there's ground rules I have to stick by which I will." I say.

"I'm not saying your lieing, I'm just surpised if I was Summer I'd of not taken your stinking ass back!" My mum says

"I know, and I swear I won't screw up again I promise." I say holding my hands up as if I'm 10 years old again showing no crossed fingers. While I show my serious face.

"You better not" Kenny pipes in.

"Love, I don't think he will from what Summer told me she is still figuring it out and still isn't 100% it sounds more like dating to me" Sandy says.

"You think? Should I take Summer on a date then? Like officially? Oh god someone help me I can't mess up again please" I beg.

Kenny just laughs while saying "you should just ask Summer she may not want to go on a date yet with Skylar being so young still."

"Kenny right" my mum says.

"Okay, I will ak Summer." ibsay

"Ask summer what?" Ryan asks as he and summer walk in to the front room linking arms.

"Well Summer would you like to go on a date night or date lunch or date day whichever you prefer?" I ask a little nervous all of a sudden.

Summer just goes wide eyed while saying "um I don't know, I don't want to be away from Skylar while Shan is doing crazy stuff atm to be honest."

"Okay a family day or something instead then?" I ask with pleading eyes?

"Okay sort it so we Can take Skylar to see santa I want to get a photo" Summer says.

I smile while saying "okay I will thankyou I can't wait."

"Talking of Christmas you need to get the Christmas tree out so we can decorate it, I'm not having a treeless December for Skylar" summer says.

"Okay I'm on it" I say as Summer and Ryan head for the kitchen

"I didn't mean this second. It's been a hectic day have a rest" Summer says stopping in her tracks.

"I know but I want to" I say hurrying off.

I go to get the 7ft fibre optic Christmas tree we brought last Christmas out of the closet.

"Summer is the Christmas decorations in the same closet as the Christmas tree? I yell.

"Yeah your see them under the tree in 2 clear tubs" she tells back.

Of course I think to myself I must sound stupid now.

As I get the tree out Kenny appears "here give me the tree you grab the boxes." he says.

"Thanks, I appreciate it." I say.

"Don't worry I get the feeling we are both going to be put to work in a minute getting this place Christmas ready." Kenny say.

"True" I say laugh carrying the boxes back alongside Kenny with the tree.

"Sean where did you put the advent calendars? I brought everyone shopping today?" Summer asks while sitting sharing a tub of ice cream with Ryan on the sofa.

"Huh what advent calendars?" I ask confused.

"You know they give chocolates in to the lead up to Christmas" Summer says.

"Oh, I don't know, I didnt put the shopping away my mum did where is she anyway?" I ask.

"Oh she went down to meet your dad" Sandy says.

"Ah, great I was getting hungry dad brought dinner in tonight" I say going to get plates ready in the kitchen.

As I'm laying the plates out my dad walks in with my mum.

"Omg that smells so good dad." I say.

"Well let's hurry get them plated up so we can eat then" my dad says.

"Oh mum Summer is wondering where the advent calendars are?" I ask before I forget.

"On top shelf in the cupboard next to the cups" my mum says.

"Okay thanks I will quickly give them to Summer before I forget." I say

I go grab them all there's alot and take them into Summer.

"Heres the calanders and dinner is being served up so you 2 may wanna put the ice cream away" I say to summer and Ryan.

"Okay cheers" summer says taking them while Ryan takes the ice cream back to the kitchen.

SUMMER POV

Once we are all sat down tucking into our meals I decided to bring up the topic I wanted everyone around for.

"So I wanted everyone together to discuss Christmas, Ryan are you going to be here Christmas?" I ask.

"Actually we planned Christmas here this year so yeah how come?" He says

"Well I thought it would be nice if both family's spend Christmas together hopefully be back in my house before then so I can host to everyone if everyone would like that?" I say.

"Omg I'd love to" Karen says.

"I think it's a lovely idea" my dad chips in.

"Don't get get me cooking, I can't cook" says Tom.

"Oh don't worry my brother will be cooking he already insisted on it" I say.

"I will help Simon Cook the dinner since there be more of us now, but I think it's a great idea" my mum says.

"Okay, but if your not back at the house then where should we hold Christmas?" Sean asks.

"Oh that's easy at ours we have plenty of rooms" Tom says.

"Actually that's not a bad idea we should just do it at ours and if your brother still wants to cook that's fine by me" Karen says.

"Mum dad what you think?" I ask.

"It's up to you sweetie it's your Christmas plan to bring everyone together, we have always gotten on with Karen and Tom you know we are close friends so we won't mind either way" my dad says.

"Mum what about you?" I ask double checking everyone is happy with it since it's all our Christmases.

"I agree with your dad so you decide." my mum says.

"Okay we will have Christmas at yours, I will ring Simon and let him know after dinner." I say.

"Yes Christmas with everyone" Ryan says air punching the air.

"Careful you nearly dropped your plate" Karen says shaking her head laughing.

RING RING RING

"Sorry that my phone" Ryan says going to answer the phone.

"What can we buy Skylar for a Christmas present?" Tom asks.

"Whatever you like Tom she is your granddaughter after all" I say smiling.

"Don't worry babe, I can sort it" Karen says.

"Dad, I'm sure feeding Skylar Christmas day will be all she truely wants" Sean says laughing

"We will be making a move after after dinner" Karen says.

"Okay, would you like to have lunch with me and my mum Friday karen?" I ask.

"We are having lunch Friday?" my mum asks.

"Yes I just thought of it" I say smiling.

"Sounds lovely message me a time and place and I will be there" Karen says.

"Okay I'm game to" my mum says.

"That's settled then." I say happily.

"Kenny feel free to come to golf with me Saturday in that case then" Tom says.

"What about me?" Sean says

"You can stay look after Summer and Skylar" Karen says glaring at Sean.

"Alright I won't ask again." Sean says.

Ryan starts laughing as he come back in seeing that sence.

I can't help laughing either.

"Ryan you going to join us Saturday?" my dad ask.

"To right, but I will be leaving Monday for America but will be coming back a week later with my lukey" Ryan says.

"Everything okay?" Tom asks.

"Yeah just some stuck up client won't meet with luke only requests a meeting with me for some reason they always clash, so I'm needed to sorted it out nothing to worry about dad" Ryan says.

"I'm glad it's nothing serious, me and your mother are about to leave are you coming with us?" Tom says

"Yeah, summer I will see you before i leave Monday okay." Ryan says coming over to hug me.

"Alright your all welcome by anytime you know that" I say standing up to hug Ryan better before he leaves with Karen and Tom.

But Skylar starts to cry so I dash over to pick Skylar up instead.

"Don't worry, I will get a bottle love" my mum says dashing to the kitchen.

"Sean I will let you see everyone out I'm going to quickly change Skylar nappy before her bottle she is a little sticky" I say heading for the bedroom.

SEAN'S POV

After I saw everyone out I went to see if Summer needed any help taking the bottle with me but Summer was already in the hallway coming back out.

"I've got the bottle where do you want to feed Skylar in the bedroom or lounge?" I ask.

"Lounge is good as you need to sort the Christmas decorations out still" Summer says taking the bottle from me as she leans on tippie toes with Skylar to kiss my cheek then carry onto the front room. I follow behind into the lounge. Summer takes a seat

Sandy then says "I'm going to wash the dishes, while your feeding Skylar love"

"Just put them in the dish washer mum" Summer says.

"I will" sandy replys going to the kitchen.

"Okay where you want the tree?" I ask Summer.

"Over there near the TV but more towards the corner" Summer says nodding with her head what direction, since her hands were full with feeding Skylar.

"Dad could you ring Simon and update him about Christmas please? , I was going to until lil princess woke up" Summer says

"Okay honey I will go call him and help your mum she will get angry if she can't speak with Simon also" laughs my dad heading for the kitchen.

"You know your Christmas idea is amazing, I know my parents are made up there see Skylar on her first ever Christmas." Sean says.

"I know, I didn't want to leave anyone out" summer says.

"Thanks" I say then I get to work getting the tree out the box.

"Sean your doing it wrong you know" summer says with a huge smile.

"How am I?" I ask.

"Your missing Christmas music." Summer says then she shouts "Alexa play Christmas songs."

And the first song is lad baby "I love Saugage rolls" summer instantly starts singing and I also sing along as I get the tree set up and start sorting the branches.

By the time I've finished putting all the ball balls on the tree where summer says for them to go she has already settled Skylar into the baby bouncer, and putting tinsel around the tree. The colours of the ball balls and tinsel are red and silver.

"Sean Where's the step ladders at these day?" Summer asks

"Why?" I ask.

"So I can put the fairy on top of course why else?" She says before continuing to sing santa baby.

I lift summer up by the waist, "no need for a step ladder when I can help sweetie." I say.

"Don't you dare drop me Sean I swear to god I will beat you if you do" Summer say quickly placing the fairy on top of the tree.

"I'd never drop you" I say gently sliding Summer down my body before wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Hmm but you did when I was 16 when I was trying to reach cocopops from your parents house top shelf" Summer says.

"It was a accident, I've never dropped you since" I say before kissing Summers neck behind her ear. And summer leans against my body more.

"We should turn the lights off so we can see what the trees looks like with its lights" on Summer says.

"Alexa turn the lights off." I say.

"When did you get the lights put in?" Summer asks

"Oh around 3-4 months ago they change colour also." I say.

"Impressiv" e summer says.

"What's that the tree or lights?" I ask.

"Both" summer says.

"Okay anything else you want done?" I ask.

"Just the usual bits that goes up we can do them tomorrow, I'm tired now" Summer says.

"Then bed we shall go" I say letting Summer go to get Skylar.

"Mum, dad we going to bed now" Summer shouts down to there room where there still on the phone to Simon.

"Okay honey" Kenny shouts back.

With that I carry Skylar into our room and place her in the replica next to me crib like she has at her house. It's on summers side also so summer can be close to Skylar like, I know she likes at her house. I then leave to go get the sterilised bottles and 4 mini ready made shop brought formulas as well as the nappys ect we will need for the night feeds. As I'm heading into the bedroom again I feel my phone vibrate

Wifey

It's a picture of her laid next to summer captioned it's like we are home from home

I can't help but smile and quickly save the picture to my photo album.

"I love that photo to cute I" say walking into the bedroom.

"I thought so to" Summer says.

I can see Summer is in her pink mini mouse fluffy pj's. I decide I can't be bother to get changed and just strip down to my boxers and climb into bed after I've left the baby bits on the night stand my side.

"Sean what do you think will happen tomorrow?" Summer asks.

"Hopefully all fun stuff and nothing horrid" I say pulling summer into a cuddle. I can tell she is worried and thinking what Shan will do next.

"Hopefully it is" Summer replys.

I give Summer a kiss on the cheek and we just cuddle up. It doesn't take Summer long to fall asleep and I can't help but feel greatful to call her mine again. I know it's still early days but I know forever I shall do everything I can to keep the title of having Summer as my life longer partner.
