Chapter 14 best friends

SEAN'S POV

I decided I should just be quiet so I couldn't upset Summer anymore. After summer finished feeding Skylar she also winded her then changed her nappy.

"Here you can have a cuddle with Skylar now" Summer said handing her over to me.

"Look at you all happy and content Skylar that's because you had mummy looking after you" I say to Skylar.

Summer got up and went to get some clean clothes.

"Whats the plan next" I ask Summer.

"I'm going to have a shower now while you spend some time with Skylar" Summer said.

Once Summer disappeared into the bathroom I looked at Skylar and said,

"Okay now your all happy and fed let's make sure mummy is also looked after".

With that I took Skylar with me downstairs.

"Where's summer?" asked Sandy.

"In the shower, here have a quick cuddle with Skylar I'm going to make Summer sandwich quickly." I say.

After I finished making the sandwich, I got a cup of tea and glass of apple juice along with Slyars antidepressants. Then I quickly took it all to Summers bedroom and put it on the bedside table.

As I head back downstairs I heard the shower stop.

"Sandy, Im going to take Skylar back up to Summer now." I say.

"What she wants to stay up there all day with Skylar?" Kenny asks.

"No they were sleeping between feeds earlier, I took Skylar when summer got in the shower, so I want Skylar back up there ready for Summer to decide what's next once she comes out the bathroom" I say taking Skylar from Sandy.

"I hope you know what your doing otherwise I will be taking over in sorting this all out" Sandy says.

"Just give me some time" I say walking out the room.

Once back In the bedroom I sit with Skylar on the bed, Summer soon comes back in.

"Skylar and me made you something to eat and a drink. We also brought you a juice to take with your antidepressant" I say to summer.

"Thanks" Summer says before drying her hair with the hair dryer.

When she has finished she turns her straighteners on.

"Are you not hungry?" I ask Summer.

"I will eat it in a minute, I just want to feel more human, you know more like me again" Summer say.

"Okay take your time." I say.

Summer gets a quarter of her hair straightened when her phone rings

RING RING RING RING RING RI

Summer answers the phone putting it on speaker phone

"It took you long enough to call me you traitor" Summer says.

"Don't worry my queen, your king shall return soon." I hear Ryan my brother say.

"So you finally decided to come back and take your title as king huh?" Summer says. These two and there nicknames for each other I think to myself. Although these have been the longest standing nicknames so far dispite my protested when we got together that I took over the title King with Summer as my queen. But they both wouldn't have it.

"Forgive me my queen work has been manic, but yes I need to see my queen and my niece of course! I'm hurrying back to become your king again." Ryan says.

"It took me to have a baby for you to come back? If I'd known that I'd of had a baby before you left! That way you wouldn't of left me" Summer says.

"HaHa, aww did you miss me my queen?" Ryan says.

"Always and forever of course. I'm sorry I kept the baby a secret so long even thought your my best friend I just needed some time" Summer says.

"Don't worry my queen, my brother may be a dim wit but I shall give you the fairytale wedding you so deserve" Ryan says. Making me roll my eyes like hell only I shall be doing that I think.

"Don't forget we need matching pink outfits" Summer says laughing

"Yes but it needs to be secret date, I can't have luke running in with his objections" Ryan says which actually makes me laugh I can imagine it now.

"Okay we can elope to Las Vegas, have Skylar as our little flower girl" Summer says.

"How is Skylar, I can't wait to meet her" Ryan says.

"She is asleep atm with Sean holding her, I'm just straighten my hair you can hi your on speaker phone." Summer says.

"Sean you better be looking after my queen" Ryan says sounding pissed at me still. He has been pissed with me since he found out I cheated on Summer.

"Of course I am what do you take me for?" I say.

"A stupid fool" Ryan says.

"I can't argue with that" I say looking at Summer as she continues to straighten her hair.

"My queen, I was ringing to let you know to expect a delivery tomorrow, its from me a luke." Ryan says.

"Please tell me its my king that's going to jump out of a box and whisk me away for my happily ever after" Summer says.

"My queen if I could do that, I would but your see me soon I promise, now tell me how are you?" Ryan ask.

"Better now I know my king is coming to rule the world with me" Summer says

"Luke wants to say hi" Ryan says.

"HaHa okay put him on" Summer says.

"Congratulations on our baby girl being born" Luke says coming on the phone

"Who says she is your?" Summer says laughing.

"Hey if you insist in stealing my man as your king husband, then that makes us all united therefore she is all our baby girl" Luke says laughing

"No! No! I dont share my men, plus I had him first! He says I can have the matching pink wedding outfits now therefore I finally successfully turned Ryan straight" summer says laughs.

"I will tie him to the kitchen sink before I allow that, we can share or not at all he" Luke says laughing back.

"We will see who wins but before that hurry up and get yourselves on a plane, you have to meet Skylar." Summer says.

"I know we are working on that, don't worry we will come soon to battle out who wins Ryan's love" Luke says.

"Okay, well I need to go put my king back on the phone so I can declare my undying love before I hang up" Summer says.

"Okay you look after yourself and our baby girl mwah mwah" Luke says.

"Mwah Mwah" Summer replys and I can't help laughing at how funny these are when they get together.

"My queen you can't leave me yet" Ryan says.

"I'm sorry my king, but if I don't I'm sure people will drag me to the hospital again" Summer says.

"What? why? What's going on?" Ryan says.

"Your brother has been sat waiting for about a hour now for me to eat and take my antidepressant" Summer says glaring at me through the mirror.

"Depression what's got my queen depressed?" Ryan ask.

"Apperently it's postnatal depression, don't worry I don't hate Skylar I just can't seem to be the best mother she deserves but I'm trying but she stops as we hear alike shout" Ryan I can handle the business here while you go on, I ain't having our summer upset she needs her best friend you go! Plus skylar is your niece"

" I can't leave you to handle everything these next few days babe" Ryan says.

Luke shouts again "Summer ignore him, he will be there ASAP we got you covered girl."

"Okay well while you two argue it out I'm gonna go but I will send some pictures of Skylar over soon love you both" Summer say

"love you to my queen" Ryan says

"love you to mwah mwah" Summer says before hanging up

"I'm not going to drag you back to the hospital Summer, but I'm glad my brother will be here soon he always makes you laugh when you need it." I say.

"That's because he has been my best friend since I was 14 years old" summer says

"You know when when Ryan found out you left me, he rang me telling me if he found out where you were first he was going to move you to America with him and hide you away from me forever." I say.

"I know we emailed every week, he was always trying to talk me into going to America" Summer says as she sits on the bed.

"Talking of best friends logan said he can't wait to meet Skylar, I told him to give us a few weeks though" I say.

Summer doesn't answer instead she takes the antidepressant tablet then says "happy now?"

"No, I won't be happy until I know your happy again" I simply reply.

"Thanks for the sandwich" Summer says picking it up to eat.

"So what's the plan after you eaten?" I ask.

"I need to get someone to collect my car from the beach" she says

"Already taken care off, I had someone bring it back earlier while you were asleep." I say.

"You didn't need to do that but thanks" summer says.

"I know but I wanted to help." I say.

When summer finishes her sandwich she picks up her ipad and phone.

"Okay let's go downstairs, I will let you carry Skylar" summer says.

SUMMERS POV

Mum have you cooked dinner yet? I ask walking into the front room.

"No, are you hungry?" I ask.

"Good, don't cook I'm going to order in your favourite kebab." I say.

"Really, how come?" My mum asks looking at me with a puzzled face.

"Because then I can at least get something right done today but its thanking you for looking after Skylar this morning." I say

"I don't need thanking, you know that how about we watch a film?" my mum suggests.

"Okay you choose while I order dinner." I say.

I go sit next to my dad and cuddle up to him since he is on my chair anyway, while Sean puts Skylar into the mosebasket next to me.

"Did you get some decent sleep?" my dad asks

"Yeah I slept when Skylar was sleeping." I say.

"Sleep always helped your mum when you and Simon where new borns when she didn't sleep she would be upset to you know." my dad says.

"Come on dad you an help me order the food" I say unlocking the tablet

After ordering the food, I nugged my dad and he looked at me.

I smiled saying "shh" then hinted to watch what I was doing on the ipad

I got onto wilkos website and started ordering loads of paint pots, a tunnel to pour paint into a small object, a jug and a load of water bombs.

"Click and collect" I questioned my dad.

"Yeah I will borrow your car for tomorrow's mornings collection time" my dad says.

"What are you to up to now?" my mum says.

"A secret "I say smiling.

" %Don't worry love your soon see my dad" says laughing.

Whenever I was upset growing up my dad would always come up with some wacky way of how to make me feel better. When I was asleep earlier I remembered how my dad brought water balloons and we attacked the garden fence with them after I got stressed out with my gcse revivison. Afterwards I felt so good after shouting out my frustrations throwing them water balloons at the fence and that is wear this idea came from.

I then started to do some online shopping until the food arrived. We was just about to tuck into our food But Skylar woke up for a feed.

I went to get Skylar but everyone said they could see to her while I ate my food. "Its fine, I'm not hungry. Plus I not long had a sandwich anyway" I insisted.

My mum was the fastest to finish her dinner then took over seeing to Skylar while i ate. Once I finished I said I was going to take Skylar up to bed so I could sleep. Except halfway up the stairs Skylar started crying again.

"What's wrong with you lil Princess you just had a feed and clean nappy hmm?" I say.

I walked into my bedroom and laid down on the bed. I laid Skylar across my chest and gently patted her bum, while singing nursery rhymes. I heard patting a baby's bum gently reminded them of the mothers heartbeat in the womb.

2 songs down and Skylar had stopped crying and fallen asleep.

Maybe I should of tried that this morning then we both wouldn't of had a melt down. "I only I thought of it then little princess" I whisper looking at a now content Skylar.

"You should blame yourself" Sean says.

"Where did you come from?" I ask Sean seeing he is stood in the door way I can't help but think he needs a hair cut it's getting a little long and he could do with a shave he has a little stubble appearing, not that it didn't stop him looking hot as hell annoyingly he could pull of any look I think to myself.

"Sorry I wanted to make sure you were both okay, but couldn't help but admire how adorable you both look" Sean says smiling at me.

"Did you want a cuddle with Skylar before I put her in the crib?" I ask.

Sean comes lays on the bed looking at skylar and taking one had stroking Skylars back as she lays on me.

"It's okay, let makes sure Skylar is fully settled before I disturb her for a cuddle first" he says.

"Okay then, by the way we need to get an appointment to officially register Skylar I will ring them up tomorrow." I say.

"I was going to say about that today but it slipped my mind" Sean says.

"It's okay we still have alot of time to sort the registration out." I say.

"Here I think, Skylar is fully asleep now why don't you have a hold" I say passing Skylar over to Sean.

"Why are you not mad at me for my melt down this morning?" I ask Sean as its something I kept wondering about throughout the day.

"Because it's not your fault, we are all human and it's not like you left Skylar with a stranger your left her with your parents. I wasn't even worried about Skylar safety only yours" Sean says.

I start yawning before I get a chance to reply.

"If your tired just go to sleep, I can put Skylar down in a minute" Sean says.

Okay then I say closing my eyes.

SEAN'S POV

Summer fell asleep really fast, then in her she sleep cuddled up to me. I didn't dare try to move as Summers leg was over mine and her arm was cuddled up to my arm. So I just enjoyed having both my girls cuddled up to me.

When Skylar started to stir I gently tried to get out of Summers grip so she wouldn't wake up. But I failed that as Summer opened here eyes.

"Hey, you clinged to me in your sleep, I didn't want to wake you or Skylar ip so just stayed like this with Skylar but she is starting to wake up I will feed her while you go back to sleep." I say.

Summer smiled at me, then turned over saying "thanks" before going back to sleep. I took Skylar downstairs so we wouldn't disturb Summer.

"Everything okay?" Kenny asks as I walk into the kitchen with Skylar.

"Yeah Summer is still asleep she allowed me to see to Skylar while she sleeps. It's time to feed this one" I say.

"Okay I will get the bottle for you go on into the front room with lil lady" Kenny says.

"Cheers Kenny." I say as I head into the front room. It wasn't long after that Kenny came in with the bottle.

"Here you" Kenny says handing it to me.

"I'm going to go up to bed if you need anything just come wake me up" Kenny says.

"Thanks I'm sure we will be fine" I say.

"Okay then night" Kenny says heading out the living room

"Goodnight Kenny" I say.

With that I feed Skylar and enjoyed this time together while I thought over everything that had happened today. I hated seeing Summer so distraught and just wish I could make everything better and fox the mess I caused in a heartbeat. But I knew it wasn't that easy however I vowed to make it right again after it all its the least I could do. Both my girls deserved to be happy in life and that's what they both will be.

After I finished Skylars bottle I changed her nappy then I put her into the mosebasket when she was asleep again.
