9. Jade
Jade had immediately called her mother after getting back to her car, barely able to contain herself as she told her of Devon’s unexpected proposal. She had been talking to her mother for the last couple of weeks about dating Devon, so her mother had a pretty good opinion of him. Jade was beaming as her mother congratulated her, every bit of her filled with nothing but happiness. She started making her way back home, wondering if she should maybe stop by and tell Ashley the news. Whether or not she was Devon’s ex, she was still Jade’s friend and she wanted her friend to know about such an important event.
