I felt empty.I can't believe Brooke would do that.I know She wanted to have s*x but I wanted to wait until at least six months.Ain't nothing about it that can't wait for a serious relationship.

I got up from the guest room bed went into the bathroom,washing my face and use the toilet.I pulled on my sweat pants,sweat shirt and shoes.I took my phone up on my way out and started jogging down the sidewalk.

I jog every morning usually around five times around the block but I'm thinking ten today.To get myself in a better mood.

I've been around the block three times already.I was about to start my forth but I was attacked by something big.....and hairy.It pushed me to the ground and started licking my face and ewww.

I push the dog off me and stood,glaring at he huge animal while wiping my face.

I was about to yell at it but giggles catch my ears.What could be so funny this early.

"Hi".I jump and Yelp when I heard a voice.

The bushes move and then this kid came out.He looked about fourteen,fifteen .

"What are you doing out here,it's after four?".

"I ran away but I have to get back by seven though or my mom will be upset with me".

"Your ran away but you have to be back by seven?".I raise a brow.

"Yes".

"Well good luck with that".I turn to walk back to my house

"Can I come with you?".

I raise a brow at him.

"Didn't your parent tell you not to talk to strangers ?".

"Yes but can I?".

"No you should go back home something might happen to you out here".

"That's why I should come with you".

I glared at the smiling boy before huffing and nodding.

He squeal and followed me.With that beast beside him skipping with his tongue out.

When I got back to the house I lead him to the living room

"You and your dog stay here and watch tv.If you need me,yell but don't need me".

He giggled and nod before taking the remote and turning on the tv.

I walked into my little gym and began my morning workout.Fifty this fifty that ten minutes on this ten minutes on that.

I heard the kid yell 'mister' and I groan.

When I got back to the living room he was just watching tv.I thought I'm hearing things but then I saw Brooke through the glass at the front door.

I sighed and walk over,opening the door a little so she couldn't see inside.It must be after seven by now because the sun is up.

"Problem....oh yea your things I'll send them to your apartment".

"No not my things,you......I'm sorry Lucian".Her eyes were filled with tears but her face say she was faking.

"Yea I'm sorry too,couldn't you go to his house?".

"He lives with his mom".

"At least use the guest room".

"I didn't realize".

"Lucian it was a mistake please take me back".She pleaded

"Cheating isn't a mistake Brooke it's a choice and you choose him now go".I said softly but sternly.

"You could have gone to your apartment but noooo do you want the bed cause I'm throwing it out?".

"No just get rid of it".She said and walk away.

"Wait Brooke".She stopped and turned with hope in her eyes.

"Keep this to yourself".

I said before closing the door and went into the kitchen.I went to the fridge to get my fruits for my morning shake.

"Your friend seems pretty upset when you kicked her out".

I jumped a little and hit my head.I look to the side at the kid.I almost forgot he was here.

"Don't sneak up on me like that".

"Why are you angry with your friend she seems sad".

"She cheated".

"Cheated,what's that?".

I took a good look at the boy in front of me,he's fifteen how doesn't he know what cheating is.

"When you're partners with someone and you hook up with someone else behind your partners back".

He c**k his head to the side then answered.

"I saw my mommy watching a movie once,this guy he was the president and he kissed a woman but it wasn't his wife is that cheating?".

"Yes it is and Brooke did it".

"Oh I'm sorry,you must be sad do you want a hug ?my mommy-".

"Kid,wanna tell me why you 'ran away'?".

"Mommy wants to send me to high school next term,I don't want to go,I'm scared".

"You've been home schooled".

He nod.

"I've never been in a real school before,I watch high school musical it seems nice to be in high school but I also watch mean girls,it's naughty".

He whispered the last part.

"She said she wanted me to get the experience of the outside world and be a man.I can be a man at home.She said I'm too shy and I don't have conversation with people".

"Well she's right you need the experience you're too innocent,I've seen fourteen year olds act more mature than you".

He glared at me.

"What's your name?".

"Skylar,you're Lucian I heard your friend say it".

"How old are you?".

"Sixteen I'm turning seventeen in three days".He cheered.

Seventeen?

"Good for you,now you have to go home when your mom wakes up and notice you're gone she's gonna freak out and even call the cops I don't want a minor in my house when that happens".

"Nothing will happen just a few more hours and I'll be gone".He pleaded with his eyes.He had pretty brown eyes.

"Fine but I'm taking you home myself after those hours,do you want breakfast?".

"Yes please".

By nine thirty we were walking down the side walk.I held the dog because he was too big for skylar to handle that's how he attacked my the first time.Skylar held my hand. I didn't have a problem with it but his thumb was rubbing the back of my hand.He pointed to his house and I stopped giving him his dog.

"You should meet my mom she'll love you".

"Next time I have to go.....I don't want to see you out here those hours again and never run away again".I pointed at him.

"Okay bye Lucian".

He surprise me when he warp his arms around my waist and his fast press to my chest.I awkwardly par his head and he let go.

"Bye kid".

"It's Skylar".
