Stefan
Stefan stopped when he noticed the way Kyler’s shoulders were drawn to his ears and the man seemed frozen in place.
Stefan sighed quietly, so Kyler wouldn’t hear. “Kyler, we don’t have to do anything, you know that, right?”
Kyler nodded, his beanie sliding off his head. Stefan took a couple of steps and reached to catch it, then put it on the nearby dresser.
“I…I want to,” Kyler whispered. “I’ve just never…” He trailed off and Stefan decided to wait him out. After a few more beats, Kyler continued, “It’s never been about me.”
Stefan lifted his hand again, tugging at a strand of blond hair. “I get that, darling, I do. That’s what I want to change for you the most.”
