I was really concerned about Maddie this entire weekend. She closed the door in my face, but I guess for better reasons. Her mother was back and I'm not sure what the situation in her environment is like. I texted her a couple of times so that she knows that she could always talk to me about anything and if she needs me, that I will always be there for her. She just replied with 'Thank you' and 'I miss you.' That was better than nothing for me.
I moved on Saturday into my own apartment, so living in the Stern hotel was no longer an option for me when I had a little daughter to live with me. Yesterday, I got Bella to live with me.
