It was the eyes. Just like Cira’s. Forest green and full of strength. At least they had been. Now she had lost some of that confidence, just like Cira had, and that was why they reminded me of each other so much. In a way, it was scary, but it was also exciting, like I was reliving the past, and I was given a chance for a do-over.
