I woke to the glow of magic filling the room. My mouth was nothing but sand and my eyes were glued shut. It took all my strength just to pry them open. Three unicorns stood around me their horns glowing various colors as they focused. All the light was gathering in a wound on my arm. “What happened?” I whispered and immediately regretted it as my voice came out in a croak. “Do you need a drink of water, dear?” One of them asked. Her horn was a deep blue and her magic left my arm to form a liquid ball in front of me. I pulled it to me and relished the coolness on my dried lips, the taste of the pure water was heavenly.
