I hadn’t seen Kino for over a week and I am starting to believe that I did the right thing because if he was the right one for me, he would chase after me no matter how I pushed him away. He should have proven to me that he’s worthy of having me. But that’s too much of a push. That only happens in my imagination.
“You look angry at your laptop,” Julia commented while she leaned on the doorframe of my office.
I rolled my eyes and folded my laptop back. “I am tired,” I replied.
Julia smiled weakly and slowly walked towards me. “Pretty much because you kept on doing overtime even when I tell you not to,” she told me as she sat on the chair in front of my table.
I gave her a look. “I am only doing this because I hate procrastinating,” I told her.
