72 HOURS KILL MISSION EPISODE NINE

Morgan gave his boss a call and they had a discussion about Davina coming back and his boss was not so convince that Davina was still fit for the job. Anything could have happened out there and she could have told their secrets..

Morgan: what do we do, you know we don't have much time..

Voice: she was with Storm not just for a minute but the whole night. Now if you know storm, you will also know that if he felt like her life was threatened he would never let her go..

Morgan: you think she told him the truth, she said the guy tried to r**e her.. if we let this chance pass we might live to regret as we don't know what Rex is planning. That guy has connection and he can't know Davina is out of prison. It will destroy everything.

Voice: so what do you suggest we do?

Morgan: if Davina had plans with Storm, she would have come straight to us but she didn't. I don't even think she knew she had an active chip on her and she said she ran away from Storm's place. I think we can still use her..

Voice: good. Put everything in place. I need to talk to her before the mission. I will be there in an hour.

Morgan: yes sir..

He ended the call then almost immediately, he had an incoming call from Dorcas. He watched the phone ring for a few seconds contemplating if he was going to pick it or not but he eventually did.

Dorcas: have you been ignoring me?

Morgan: you really must be idle.. I don't know why I made a deal with you...you think i have all the time in my hands to be constantly checking up on you like some teenager?

Dorcas: your carelessness could cause me my job you know, why are you being rude, its my job on the line here. I need to know if I'm safe or if I should start running..

Morgan: I found her and in three days, you will not have to worry about her..

Dorcas: thank God!...

She hang up even before they could finish the conversation..

I sat in that room quiet and calculative of my moves. I needed to know why I had to kill Rex and his crew and something else caught my attention..where was Dante because his photo was not included in the list of those I was to kill.

I had Erika, Justin, Oliver, Elvis, Cyrus and now Rex..

I got up from the bed and put my mug on the table then walked to the window to feel the rays of the sun hit my face. See i could see outside but the window was made in such a way that i couldn't escape but the truth is, I wasn't going to escape...

After the night Rex and i had s*x in his car, the following day, i agreed to his proposal and he took me to his hide out not as a spy but i was to work with the rest of the team,k ow everything i needed to know before i actually went on kill missions. He tested me several times and Dante made sure i passed those tests even though him and I had issues as far as Erika was in the picture.

Rex and i had s*x a few more times, he'd pick me up from the hide out and we would have a good time outside and the suspicion that the crew had on me being a spy made me even a bigger enemy, could it be that one of them shot me that day but why did Dante leave me to die?..

Rex made me swear loyalty to him. He said he would give me everything i wanted only if i would be loyal and do everything he asked and I was down. First things first he said i could not go back to my boss because he wasn't a good guy, then again he didn't want me back at the club because he didn't want me sleeping with other men. Maybe that was genuine.. could it be that he truly liked me but if he did, what could have been the reason of him never visiting me in prison after everything we had shared?..

As i was still lost in my thoughts i heard the door open and in walked some guy. Someone i didn't know and he didn't come in with Morgan. Could he have been the boss Morgan kept talking to?..

I stood there staring at him nervously waiting for him to introduce himself but he stood there staring back.

Me: who are you?..

Jeff: my name is Jeff..you don't know me.

I walked back to the bed and sat on the edge of it as he walked into the house. all that time, he still had his eyes fixed on me the whole time as he took out his laptop and set it on the table beside the bed..

Me: what do you want.. did he send you to come and see if i flew out the window?..

he did not respond to that but he took my arm lay it on the table and put on some band on me. He also connected some wires to my head and to my chest.

Me: what is this?

Jeff: a lie detector machine..

Of cause i knew what it was but i didn't understand why he was doing a lie detection on me. Did they think i am a liar?..

Me: what, you think I'm a liar, you think i have been lying to you?.

Jeff: Yes, you actually are..i know that because i have a message for you from Storm.

Me: what.. you saw storm?

Jeff: no. It was more of knocking my head on the steering wheel and putting a gun to my head..

Me: I'm not surprised.. the guy this too rough and dangerous. What did he want?..

Jeff: he said he will be waiting in your apartment when they finally release you from here.

Me: my apartment, i don't have an apartment.. did Morgan just allow you in here?..

Jeff: yes, I'm his friend.. they want me to conduct a lying test on you.. apparently they do not trust that you are telling the truth about how they found you again.

Me: what does it matter, I'm here?...

Jeff: you don't understand. Storm is not someone you want to be friends with and you don't know Morgan's boss either. These are not people you f*ck with...

Me: does Morgan know you are passing me messages from Storm?..

Jeff: no, and don't think i had a choice. That nuckle head got to me and he kidnapped my little sister as we were driving back home. He said I pass the message, make sure you are alive in here and also tell him where they will take you then he will let go of my sister..

Me: sounds like a deal to me..

He was worried and to me, that was a good thing. The truth is I didn't run away from Storm but he let me go because we had a plan..

When i was shot that night, alot of things happened that i wasn't able to account for and when i woke up in the hospital, I didn't have anyone to ask anything, Debby had died, someone killed her and her death could have had something to do with what we had gone to do there.

Dante had told me that we were going fo raid a place, it looked like some business premises when we got in but we didn't make it far before shots started being fired at us. Rex having guys threaten us at the hotel plus his secret phone calls with Dante made me realize there was more to everything but how was i going go uncover the truth...

Jeff heard Morgan and he put a finger on his mouth so that Morgan couldn't know what we were talking about.

He walked in and Jeff pretended that he had just finished questioning me and he took the wires of me and turned to Jeff

Morgan: anything you found?..

Jeff: i hate to say this but she's clean.

Morgan: good, someone is here to see you.

Jeff packed his laptop and stuff then walked out of the room and met up with the person who had been so mysterious, the one person that made Morgan shiver but who was he...

My eyes were fixed on the door when a familiar guy walked in.. i couldn't forget that body and the perfume he was wearing. He had a hat on his head and when he took off his hat, my worst fears were confirmed..

Dante: we meet again Davina..

Me: Dante!

Dante: i love the way you call my name..

I got up and jumped on him and started hitting him but Morgan grabbed me and pulled me away from him and Dante hit me with the back of his hand i fell.

Morgan hoisted me up and i came face fo face with Dante again..

Me: you had me shot.. you killer my friend too?

Dante: all that had to happen for me to achieve everything i wanted to achieve.

Me: what did i do to you?..

Dante: its not so much you. Its your friend Debby..

Morgan let go of me and i sat on the bed yet again.

Dante: there is alot of things you don't know, about your friend Debby or me.

Me: what do you want with me?..

Dante: good question... You have a mission, i am sure Morgan here has briefed you already. You are lucky Jeff proved you clean. Stay away from.thar guy storm..

I looked at him like i never understood what he was saying because i didn't. Why was everyone bringing up Storm, what the hell was he?

Dante: you will kill Rex, not just him but everyone that is tied to him. I don't care how you will do it but all that has to happen within 72hours..

Me: why?..

Dante: you and him made a deal to screw my brother over and your friend Debby, she double crossed my brother too. She set him up and almost got him killed. You have one chance fo redeem yourself Milan,one chance... I know you slept with Rex so many times...i hope that will not blind you because should you fail to kill him, you are not the only one that is going to die...

Me: is that a threat Dante..

Dante: no. Its me giving you a heads-up.. i will see you tomorrow, in your apartment.. you try to run again, lets just say you will see a side of me you never ever saw...

He put on his hat again and walked out of the room and he was closely followed by Morgan..

I walked to the window to watch them completely disappear and my heart was pounding. Was that the man i was supposed to be afraid of because he looked like he would really kill me if i double crossed him again. Storm's message got to me and i understood the hustle he went through to get Jeff to deliver his message. He knew just what to do but how were we going to pull that through?..

I took a deep breath and walked back to the bed and sat down all confused. What the hell did Debby do to piss Dante off that much?...
