Alexandria POV
"I'm going to miss you, Alexandria!" Mark embraced me tightly, and we held each other for a moment. It was difficult to see him alone again after spending five years together. He had been my best friend, the only person who believed in me when others pushed me away.
"I'm going to miss you too," I replied, releasing him from the embrace. "I promise I'll call you all the time," I assured him with a smile.
"I just hope you're making the right decision, Alexa," Mark expressed his concern.
I nodded, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You don't have to worry, Mark," I reassured him. "I believe everything will be fine, and I'm doing this for the children."
