My Sealed Mate

Chapter 3

*Nadia’s POV*

Things weren’t as easy as I thought. I was growing tired of running through this forest.

It all looked the same. At this point, I didn’t even know if I was running in circles. What if I can’t find where I left my mother?

“Will you have faith in me?” Ambar asked me as she rolled her eyes.

“Right.” I muttered. “We have only been together for a few months. I’m still trying to get used to it.”

“Stop!” She yelled. “Did you hear that?” She asked me in panic.

I looked around nervously. “No, I was too busy arguing with you.” I said sarcastically.

“Climb the tree.” She told me.

“I have an injured shoulder.” I replied, rolling my eyes.

I was becoming irritated. I’m in pain, hungry, and tired.

“Just do it or you’ll become another rogue’s meal!” She said in a hurry.

“Fine.” I grumbled as I reached for a branch. “I can’t.” I winced in pain as the tight grip made my shoulder injury burn.

“Goddess, Nadia!” She growled. “Shift.” She said, but it was too late.

I heard leaves breaking behind me, making me hold my breath in anticipation. 


‘I’m dead. So, fūcking dead.’ I thought to myself.

“We, dumb asš.” Ambar scoffed.

“I love you too.” I replied, rolling my eyes.

I felt goosebumps all over my body just as I felt someone’s breath on my bare neck. I was scared as shīt, but I couldn’t go out without a fight.

I turned quickly but my back was slammed against a nearby tree, making me gulp.

As I looked into his big brown eyes, my heart stopped. What a handsome male he is.

I tried to keep my eyes on his, but I was struggling. I really wanted to tear my eyes away so that they could explore his body, which felt very big and muscular against my naked—

Wait a minute! I’m fūcking naked with a very handsome man flush against me. Oh, goddess.

We stood there for a few seconds, staring at each other when he finally spoke.

“What brings you to my packlands?” He whispered with brows furrowed.

I felt my heart beating faster at the sound of his voice. Goddess, and my body was having some odd reaction to this man.

I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body. Sort of like… Goddess, could it be?

*Caleb’s POV*

“What brings you to my packlands?” I asked her after fighting control from Beau.

When we were running along the border and caught her scent, he almost lost it. I didn’t want to scare my mate away, so I suppressed my scent. Then I ran at top speed to find her, trying to climb a tree.

It took me a second to approach her since her very naked body was doing some shīt to my body. Goddess, I wanted to bend her over right there and claim what the goddess chose as mine.

Now, I have her perky tīts pressed against my bare chest. I just needed to get rid of my shorts and we would be ready to mate. Beau was going crazy, begging for it. He wanted to mate and mark her right now.

That and the sparks were incredible. Her sudden shock proves that she finally realized that we are mates.

I cleared my throat, remembering that I had asked her something.

“I asked you a question.” I stated, rubbing my nose along her jaw.

She shivered at the slight touch, making me smirk.

“Why are you hiding your scent?” She whispered ever so softly, making me unbearably hard.

“Answer my question first.” I said, releasing her slowly.

I never wanted to let go, but I needed to know her intentions. In all honesty, if she weren’t my mate, we’d already have her in the dungeons.

“My mom and I were attacked by rogues. I was seeking help.” She said sadly.

I finally let my eyes roam her body, immediately seeing the injury on her shoulder.

I released a loud growl, making her jump.

“Sorry for scaring you.” I whispered as I reached for her cheek.

I caressed it gently, watching her in awe. “My mate.” I smiled at her.

She seemed hesitant, which somewhat concerned me.

“Why were you and your mom out in the woods at this time?” I asked.

I had so many questions, but I didn’t want to scare her off.

“Um.” She whispered before lifting her hand to scratch her head.

I immediately noticed the mark on her arm, making me back up slightly as I shook my head.

“It can’t be.” I whispered as her eyes teared up, breaking my heart.

I closed my eyes to gather my thoughts when I suddenly heard her take off.

“Oh, no you won’t.” I muttered as I took off after her.

She was fast, but I was an alpha and therefore faster.

I couldn’t control myself and I accidentally tackled her but I twirled our bodies in a hurry so she could land on me instead.

She was panting as I wrapped my arms tighter around her.

“Please don’t turn me in.” She whispered, making me tense up.

What kind of mate would I be if I gave her up to those killers? She was my mate to love and protect.

“I would never do that to you.” I finally replied.

She turned in my arms to look at me in shock. I don’t know why she would ever think that I would be capable of betraying the mate bond like that.

I sighed as I finally released my scent. She immediately stiffened in my arms before she took a nice whiff of my scent, making me chuckle.

“What do I smell like?” I asked her with a smile.

“Oreos.” She frowned as she pulled away.

“You make it seem like it’s a bad thing.” I chuckled as she shook her head.

“It just brings back memories.” She sighed as she reached her hand to help me up. “I would love to keep chatting with you, but I really need to get my mother some help.” She said as she walked off.

I ran in front of her before she could get too far. “You need help, right?” I asked her, desperate to keep her with me.

She nodded in hesitation. “Great! I will get a few warriors and a doctor to follow us there.” I told her before mind linking my head warrior, Aiden, to meet us.

As soon as I had mind linked Aiden, I remembered an important detail. I quickly grabbed my mate’s hand and pulled her towards our nearest box of clothes.

“Where are we going? It’s the other way!” She said, pulling away from my grip.

“Okay. We are getting you a shirt.” I muttered, making her laugh.

“A werewolf embarrassed by nudity.” She snickered. “Priceless.”

“I’m not embarrassed about nudity. I just don’t want others seeing what is mine.” I told her as I grabbed a large shirt and handed it to her.

“Oh.” She whispered nervously before turning away to hide her flushed cheeks.

I watched her as she slowly put the shirt on. She is so beautiful and perfect.

I can’t believe I have my mate standing in front of me. I haven’t been this happy in forever. I was smiling like a kid at a candy store until I remembered that I had given my word to the Blue Moon pack.

“Fūck my life.” I said under my breath.
