Mira yet again succeeded in pricking Dave’s conscience. She knew what tricks to put together to get him to feel sorry for her and eventually let her have her way and it worked just like every other time.
Dave considered Mira’s words and the fact that she sounded hurt and had a rethink on his actions. He had a lot to say, some of which was that she could easily make new friends with her bubbling personality and not always have to so desperately cling to him but now was not the right time. Besides, he thought about it too and felt she might not have put herself out there to meet new people because she just wasn’t ready yet.
