It was an extremely difficult decision for Dave but he knew following Henry's advice and letting Cassidy have her space was something he had to do. Trying to resolve things in his own way had done nothing but cause them to drift further apart. Henry's way just might be a better approach.
As such, Dave made a conscious effort to keep himself busy at work. Burying himself in his business was helpful to an extent to keep his mind off Cassidy until it was time to call it a day that is.
