The doctor declared Dave fit enough to be discharged the next day. His mother was already packing his bag so she could accompany him back home and possibly spend some time with him, taking care of him until she was convinced he would be fine on his own.
“I already told you mom, I do not want to go home.” Dave protested, trying to stop his mother from continuing what she was doing.
“Ryan is yet to be discharged from the hospital. I cannot leave him alone like that.” He added and his mother abruptly put down the clothes and turned to him with stern eyes.
“He's got his mother here and a whole lot of other people who love him to look after him.” She countered.
