CHAPTER 8 The contents of the wine glass came splattering all over the white wall, leaving a trail of wine stain that dripped to the floor. Its sharp shards glinting in Dave's eyes as he glared at it, his rage fueling greatly within him at each exhale. Something had to be done about Nova and his sudden closeness with Cassidy. She had no business being that close with him, he would not stand for it. But what could he possibly do? How can he convince Cassidy to stay away from Nova when she wouldn't even spare him a glance? The loud ringing of his phone jolts him out of his thoughts suddenly, drawing his attention to the mobile phone. In a fit of rage, David picks up his phone, not sparing a second to look at the caller ID. Whoever it was, was being an utter nuisance to his scheming.
