From where she is standing, Ciara stopped. She was aware that she would be exposed the second she turned around and faced the voice's source. She does not, however, want to let her courage fail her.
She yelled her father's name, "Dad."
Her father asked in a low, deep voice, "What the heck is going on here? And what did I just hear? Did I hear it right?
She tries to peer behind her father but discovers no one is there. Her mother isn't where she anticipated her to be.
She looked at her father and responded, "Your mom is currently not here with me. I came by myself," when she realized that her father was staring at her intently. I'll ask it again: What the hell is going on?
Tam was just about to add, "Uncle, Ciara and I have talk and we decided to have a d—," when Ciara interrupted him.
