The following morning, Ciara awoke feeling like she had been reborn. She had the impression that she had entered a new world. Her eye has not yet opened. When she felt something heavy in her stomach, she was about to turn around and stretch her arm. She extended her hand to the bulky object, and was shocked to discover that it was someone's feet. When she confirmed that it was actually a person's feet, she opened her eyes in shock. She was shocked to see the face of the owner of those feet when she turned to face him. She yelled in shock, and the man awoke from his deep sleep. She shout out in a panic, "Ahhhhhh!" God, oh God! Dear God! Why am I in this place? s**t! How did I end up on Tan's bed? * She asked herself inadvertently before recalling what happened the previous evening. Tan got out of bed and sat down, his face wrinkled with annoyance. He hasn't opened his eyes since, so he hasn't yet seen her. "Argg! Love, why are you so loud. Can't we just go back to sleep? I'm still sleepy." He said, still not opening his eyes, and pulled her back onto the bed while giving her a bear hug. When he suddenly pulled Ciara, she was startled to the point of being immobile. She cherished the idea of being held in his arms and given a hug by him. They had never been that close before, but as soon as she regained consciousness, she struggled in Tan's arms. Tan irritably scrubbed his eyes. "What the heck, love? What are you doing?? Ciara rolled her eyes when she heard Tan refer to her as "love" once more. He must have truly believed that Carol, his current girlfriend, was with him. "My name is Ciara, and it is way too far from love, so please stop calling me that way," she said boredly. "Hmm, what?" He continued to speak while keeping his eyes closed, sounding as though he knew what he was saying. "What what?" She asked him incredulously after seeing his uncomplicated response to her. Tan, however, abruptly opened his eyes and turned to face her. He had a bewildered expression on his face, and his eyes were fixed on her as if she had done something wrong in his eyes. "What the hell are you doing here? Where is Carol? Why are you inside my room and here in my bed?" He swore at her and shoved her so hard that she almost felt his bed. She was attempting to sit back down at his bed when she asked, "Hey! Why did you push me so hard?" He angrily yelled at her, startling Ciara, "I'm asking you a question? Why the hell are you here and where is Carol? What the f**k did you just do? She was shocked at his extreme rage and asked, "Why are you yelling at me?" After all the help and concern she gave him last night and after bringing him home. She doesn't deserve to have him yelled at. He yelled at her once more, "Then what do you think I should react? Be happy? The hell with you!" When Tan's door suddenly opened and his mother walked in, she was just about to start crying when she caught her breath. She came over and asked anxiously, "What's happening here? I heard some yelling from downstairs? Is anything wrong?" Ciara was able to contain her tears. She doesn't want her aunt Lily to notice that she started crying out of nowhere. If she did that, Tan might resent her even more. Tan said to his mother, "Mom! Thank God you're here. Why the hell this woman is here ?" Tan's mother asks him, "What? Why are you also me that? Don't you remember what happened last night ?" He asked still annoyed about her, "What are you saying, Mom? Of course I don't know why this woman is here and what about last night? I'm with the boys." From Tan's bed, Ciara got up and faced his mother. She said, "I'm really sorry, auntie. It's my fault. I should not have stayed here last night. Sorry." Tan's behavior and yelling at her are not her fault. Who wouldn't want to wake up one day in their bed with someone they weren't expecting? She patted her back and then said, "You don't have to say sorry and feel sorry about anything Ciara. Your did nothing wrong. In fact, you help him last night. If it wasn't because of you then I don't know if he'll be able to come home last night. I should be the one asking for forgiveness because Tan is very rude to you." She said and turn to face his son. "What the hell do you think you're doing, Tan? You should be thankful to Ciara because she helped you last night. But look at what you did. Instead of saying thank you to her you are blaming her," his mother snapped at him. He said confused, still in his bed, "Mom! What are you saying? Why would she be help me when I am with the boys all night. What are you saying that she help me!" "What's wrong with you? It's been two days since you've been arriving home late and intoxicated as usual. I don't know what you've been up to lately. Ciara was the one brought you home last night." Tan look at Ciara confusingly but then his face crumpled again. "But why is she still here? And why is she on my bed? She should have gone to her own home if she just help me." He stood up from his bed. "You're very inconsiderate, son. Did you not know that it was midnight when the two of arrived here? I was the one who let her stayed here because it was very dangerous to drive alone at night." Tan stared at Ciara from head to toe then he smirked. "I don't think so. You know that this woman has something crazy plans on me, Mom. If I know she already did something on me while I was sleeping." Tan accused Ciara of being that kind of person, but Ciara said, "I'm not like that kind of person. I could not do such thing." Yes, she has feelings for the man, but she would never act inappropriately toward him. She still possesses pride and dignity as a woman. She wouldn't go to such lengths for something like that. She may want him badly enough, but not to the point where she would resort to such immoral behavior. The man confronted her angrily, "Oh yeah? If not why are you wearing such thing? And if you're really not planning something on me you should have insisted on leaving." His expression indicated that he was not persuaded by her justification. His mother responded, "Tristan, stop it right now. Where are your manners young man? You shouldn't accuse her of something she doesn't know. How can you think such a thing? How can you say such a thing to a woman!" Adeline felt embarrassed at that point because Ciara anger could be heard in her voice. It seems that because of her, the mother and son will argue. "Mom! I ma not accusing her. I am just telling the truth." Tane said and look.at Ciara disgustingly and smirk at her. "And why are you even defending her mom? I'm your child and not her." "I am not defending her Tristan. I am trying to make.you understand that what you are saying is very wrong. Accusing someone with something which is very hard to believe is very outrageous, especially when it is Ciara you are accusing. She help you and show concern towards you because she knows that I will be so much worried. You know if it isn't because of her maybe you'll be sleeping in the bar right now. Would you want that to happen than being taken home by someone you know? And yes, you are my child but you are.at wrong." Tan's mother said in a low voice but in anger. Ciara can definitely feel it by how the way she speaks and said every words to his son. "And mind you, she insisted on leaving but I was the one who ask her to stay because of you. It was your fault all along why she can't go home so why not let her stay for the night, right? Ciara is just standing next to Tan's bed, quietly observing the two of them fighting because of Tan's mother as she continues to chastise him. She suddenly lowered her eyes to the ground as she turned to face the man after catching her staring at her and appearing to be ready to stab her with a dagger. "But why did she have to stay in my room? " He questions, Ciara was looking down on the ground still refusing to take Tan's dagger look. His mother asked her irritably, "Don't you remember? We have no rooms available as of the moment because your Dad had it fixed since last week and it's not yet finished. Where should I let her sleep then? On the living room?" Ciara interrupted her Aunt Lily and said, "Auntie, Tan's right. It's all my fault. Don't scold him anymore. I should have insisted on coming home. Don't blame him for reacting that way because if I was him, I would reacted the same way as his." She doesn't want to upset the dynamic between her son's mother and herself. Tan remarked, "Huh! You really is something woman! You should have thought of it last night when Mom ask you to stay but no. Because you wanted it to happen too. How pathetic!" his mother once more turned to face him with a glare. Her voice is very stern, as if she were about to blow a fire at him, "That's enough, Tristan. You're too much." She turned to her Aunt Lily and said, "I am really sorry for causing such mess auntie and thank you for letting me stay here for the night." Tan's face was scrunched up and he looked like he was about to punch her. Without looking into his eyes, she said, "Uhm, I'm really sorry too Tan. I know what you mean and I am the one who did something wrong so I hope you won't get mad at your mom. She didn't do anything wrong. I'm sorry." Tan's mother said, "No, honey. There is nothing to apologized because you did nothing wrong." but Adeline shook her head. She gave her a slight smile, "No, Auntie. It's okay. He's right." She said, "I'll get going now, Auntie. Thank you again and take care okay?." and kissed her on the cheeks. She hurriedly left, grabbing her belongings with her, before her aunt Samantha could respond. She finally made it outside and parked her car before starting it. Her eyes started to water as soon as it turned on. She shed tears one by one. Tan's response to her hurt her. She was aware that the man dislikes her. But hearing him make derogatory remarks about her, calling her a crazy stalker and a desperate woman, hurts her a lot. Her tears keep falling like raindrops. While attempting to prevent them from falling, she sighed. She is severely injured but helpless.
