Ciara stiffened in her position. She didn't know if she heard correctly or if she was just deaf. She looked at the man but he was crouched down looking at the floor with his fists clenched.
"What made you change your mind, young man" asked Ciara's Dad. "You know, if you're forced and if you really don't want to, I won't force you. Of course, I'm not that kind of person. I won't force you, Tan." her Dad added. A few seconds passed but Tan didn't answer. After a while he raised his face and looked at his father.
