Olivia calm down, I look away from this attractive stranger. What is happening to me? God took his precious time in making such a masterpiece.

"Mr. Brennan the class started a long time ago. Where were you?" The teacher says sarcastically, I gather my courage and look up to face him again.

This time he's not staring at me but has a frown plastered on his face.

"Sorry, I won't come this late again." His voice is deep and sounds luscious. Oh my god do I like him? I mean, who wouldn't?

The teacher nods her head and the guy takes a seat at the back of the class. Throughout Physics, I feel a heavy stare on my back but I didn't dare to look back.

The bell rang and I pulled myself together. I was the first person to leave the classroom, putting some distance between me and God's Masterpiece.

The rest of the classes seem to flow by and before I know, it's break. I badly dread this time as I've got zero friends.

I decide to do what any normal teen would, ditch school. Okay not everyone would do that but I don't want to be seen as a loner. The class trickles out slowly for break and I grab my backpack and head out towards the parking lot.

Not many people are there so I start looking for my car. I walk am walking down the main stairs when I see someone.

The guy in Physics stands near an expensive sports car with more people surrounding him. The crowd mainly includes cheerleaders and footballers.

The guy looks at me confused. I turn my head and head towards my car which in my awful luck stands next to his.

I quickly walk over to my car and I notice that one of the cheerleader turns to look at me with an evil expression.

I open the car door hastily, throw my stuff in and climb in the car. I start my car and drive out of the parking lot without looking back.

I instantly drive to the mall hoping that shopping can help my anxiety.

Colton's P.O.V

I throw myself out of the bed when I hear Jacob, my beta screaming. Can't this asshole let me sleep?

"You better have a good reason for waking me up otherwise I'll f*****g kill you!"I shout at him after exiting from the washroom.

Today was the first day of school and I instantly hated it. Life as a werewolf was not that easy but it being mixed with high school? Torture

Thank god it was senior year so I only had to deal with this bullshit. My life was dull and there wasn't much exciting to do in it except f*****g girls, partying, being arrogant and acting spoiled.

"Dude, the food is ready!" Jacob hollers at me from downstairs as I quickly wear my clothes and grab my phone.

As soon as I enter the kitchen, a heavy aroma of bacon envelops me. Bacon!

Jacob stands there making eggs as I walk over to him. I love him a lot because he makes good food and gives me good advice.

"Finally the last year of hell and then we can take over the pack." I stuff some bacon in my mouth as I keep the fork and knife in the dishwasher.

"I mean, each year the chances of us finally becoming mated become less." Jacob sighs sadly as I nod.

I grab my keys and head to my car, BMW i8. I take pride in having the best cars because being an alpha of a powerful pack gets you these perks.

We make it to school on time and I see many familiar faces. My girlfriend Madison greets me with a smile and we walk in school together. The main reasons why me and Madison are together are because she is pretty and she's great in bed.

The bell rings and I head towards the football field. We have football practice right now and I'm the captain so it's important for me to see if my team's in shape.

After the training, me and Madison heavily make out in an empty classroom which means I'm late for class.

I open the door to my class, Physics and instantly I know something is wrong. First, the most beautiful scent hits me which smells like beaches and rain. And next that I'll be dragged by our teacher.

She sits right in front of the class looking like an angel. She's writing notes when she raises her head to look at me.

"Mr. Brennan the class started a long time ago. Where were you?" The teacher asks me.

"Sorry, I won't come this late again." I say quickly. I walk over to the back of the class keeping my gaze fixed at her back. What is she wearing? She looks so f*****g bomb.

I can feel her being nervous and as soon as the bell rings, she's the first one to leave the class. Huh, so much for having a conversation with her.

I can't wait for break, I finally get to tell everyone that I found my mate. The thing that surprised me the most is that she is human. At least I found her, I remind myself.

In break, I stand in the parking lot gathering my courage to enter the cafeteria and see her gorgeous face when I see her coming down the stairs.

She looks at me but keeps walking. I see her eyes scanning the area until her eyes stop on a car right next to mine. Damn, and I thought getting her a nice car would work for a first date.

"Why is she leaving?" My wolf asks me as I see her car speeding down the road. Did my mate just leave? What the f**k!

"um, is everything alright babe?" Madison says in sweet tone which makes me want to puke.

"yeah." I answer and look away.
