Chapter 2- Forbidden Love

Jaycob- The thing about Tara is that she was unpredictable. We shared a brief moment of intimacy almost a week ago when I met her under the bleachers and she had been avoiding me all week after that. Or at least it felt like she was, maybe she was just too busy for me. She never spoke to me in class save for the wave of greeting and opted to walk alone to several of the classes we shared together back to back. I was a little hurt by it to say the least and wondered if I had done something to upset her. Part of me craved that interaction with her, however small it was, but I would never push it. I knew where I stood in this world and I knew where she stood, on opposite ends. She was the Alpha’s daughter, an Alpha by blood, like royalty and I was an Omega, a servant. I spent Friday evening doing work around the pack house and Saturday morning trimming hedges which I only volunteered to do so that I could watch as Tara trained. Her father was always so hard on her, but the erection I got from watching her kick everyone’s butt was unbearable. I usually had to break off and rush home to take care of myself. Today was no different. She dominated the field, sending a few warriors flying through the air. Her attire didn’t help either. Black shorts that let her butt-cheeks peek out and a bright pink sports tank that pushed her breasts upwards. Somehow, in contrast to the hot weather, her n*****s were perky. Her bosoms seemed to jiggle with every hit she landed or took. My jeans seemed to hold my engorged p***s down at a weird angle and I shifted uncomfortably to loosen them. I continued to watch my form of pornography when I noticed I had been doing a hack job with the trimming. Shoot. The Alpha was not going to like this. I frantically tried to even it out as beads of sweat fell down my neck. “You know, if my father sees this, there will be a s**t show,” Tara’s voice floated over the hum of the cutter and startled me. It slipped through my sweaty fingers and clattered on the ground. I looked back up to a grinning Tara and pushed the glasses back up to their place. The sweat was making it easier for them to slide down. I smiled nervously, “You think..you really think he’ll be mad?” I hope he wouldn’t scold me for it. I didn’t really like getting in trouble. She nodded, but then giggled. “Don’t worry. I’ll just tell him you were too distracted with watching me train that you didn’t realize you cut too low. He’ll make me wear sweats next time,” she winked, making me blush instantly. Did she really know I was watching her? “Uhh..I..uhh,” I fumbled with my words as I tried to wipe the sweat from my forehead. It kept running down into my eyes, the salt stinging them instantly. She only laughed harder as she watched me make a fool of myself. “I’ve known you my whole life and somehow, I still make you nervous,” she smirked as I finally found my words. “I’m sorry,” I say in exasperation. She shakes her head slightly, “Don’t apologize for liking what you see.” She gives me a wink and heads off back to the field. I stood a bit dumbfounded after she left. This contrasted to our usual interactions. She was always unpredictable, but I loved it. After I was done with the trimmings, it was early in the evening, giving me enough time to finish my homework. My parents were busy with my youngest siblings, while the older ones, including myself were locked in our rooms. I had showered and gotten ready for bed, checking my phone constantly for any signs of texts and ignoring some from Ernest who couldn’t stop talking about the new ‘Fae’s of Noblewood’ magazine coming out that features eligible Fae bachelorettes. He was completely obsessed with them and blatantly ignored all the girls at our school because of it. I always scoffed when he spoke about wanting to have a Fae as a mate because I knew the chances of even meeting a Fae here were slim to none and even if Moon Goddess did perhaps gift us with such a chance meeting, he wouldn’t have the courage to even approach said Fae. He was more of a coward than I! Anyways, I usually stayed up late to read while the house went to bed and tonight was no different. I had just turned off the lights when my phone vibrated, signaling a text from someone who wasn’t Ernest, who I had just silenced. I got into bed and scooped it up, the bright screen lighting up and revealing Tara’s name next to a message bubble. My heart raced as I unlocked my phone. Tara: Hey Me: Hey Tara. Tara: Wryd That’s strange. She never texts me unless she has a question about books. Me: In bed. You? Tara: Do you think I am a bad friend? A bad friend? Where is she getting this from? Me: No. Why? Tara: I just feel really bad about what happened last week. Our friendship goes way back. I don’t want you to ever think that I don’t care about you. Me: You have always been nice to me, even in front of your friends. You have never been ashamed of me or afraid to stand up for me. This was true. Tara didn’t care about being popular or liked, even though she was. That was just because she was a pleasant person. She earned respect by showing it, not with fear or incentive. She always stood up for someone when they needed a hero. She had stood up for me more than once. She was my hero. “p***y,” Jax felt the need to comment. I ignored him, too excited to text with Tara. Tara: Thanks… …should I reply to that? What does someone say? You’re welcome? Glad we are friends? Talk to you tomorrow? But I don’t want to stop talking to her. Me: Tara I’ve loved you since the day I met you. I always have. Please break up with that jerk and be my girlfriend! …delete, delete, delete. I sigh, not really knowing what to say. I don’t want to seem eager to talk to her. Maybe I should just leave her on read. Tara: (sends a picture) It’s a picture of us when we were ten. We were in the clubhouse painting. I remember that day. We were painting the clubhouse and then ended up having a painting war. I smile. Me: I remember like it was yesterday. We used to have so much fun. Tara: I miss it. Me: Me too.. Tara: Can you meet me at the clubhouse? Me: When? Tara: Now. Now? It’s late. It’s already passed midnight.. But she wants to see me. What if my parents find out? “Just go, you wimp,” Jax grunts in my mind. I roll my eyes, but it’s the push I need. Me: I can be there in ten. Tara: I’ll be waiting. I get out of bed and throw on some sweat pants and a sweater. I stick my phone in my pocket and head for my window. I sneak out as quietly as I can, shutting my window to a crack. My heart is hammering in my chest. My nerves are on fire. I have never done anything like this before. I don’t think my parents would know how to punish me if I got caught, seeing as they’ve never had a reason to before. I head for the clubhouse and can already see that Tara is there. There’s a small light coming from one of the windows which I know is from a candle. I climb up and see Tara lying down in the sleeping bags. She smiles when she sees me and motions for me to join her. I am already drunk with her cherry-orange scent that fills the small room and makes my mouth water. I shut the flap to the entrance and crouch over to her, swallowing the saliva that has accumulated in my mouth. We had both grown too tall for the short ceiling, having built it when we were seven. She lifts the cover for me and I climb in next to her as she turns her body to face mine. She stares into my eyes as I finally get settled. I can tell something is bothering her. I know all her facial expressions and know that when one of her brows is slightly furrowed, she is worried about something. “What’s wrong?” I ask immediately. She plasters a fake smile, “Nothing. I just couldn’t sleep and wanted to see you.” I frown, “I know when you’re lying, Tara.” She smiles softly, “You always did know me too well.” “Are you going to tell me?” I insist. She shakes her head, letting her feelings show. “Can you just hold me?” she asks as her lip quivers slightly. I nod and place my arm nervously around her waist as she snuggles up to me. Her scent invades my nostrils and I resist inhaling deeply. In this short moment, I feel like I am in heaven, until I hear her soft sniffles. She’s crying. Why is she crying? I back my head slightly and lift her chin with my hand to meet my gaze. Her tears glisten in the low light and I wipe them away as they fall. “You can tell me. I will always keep your secrets,” I whisper to her. I caress her cheek with my thumb as she continues to stare at me. “I love your eyes,” she says softly, lifting her hand to remove my glasses. Her hand glows where she caresses my face and my vision becomes clear. She is so beautiful, it hurts to see her cry. I hesitate before I press my lips to her forehead, wishing I had her powers so that I could take away her heartache. I pull my head back to look into her sad eyes, but they are closed. “Don’t stop,” she whispers. I suppress the flip my stomach did at her words and work up the courage to kiss her forehead again. She moves her head up slightly so that I kiss one of her eyes, tasting her salty tears on my lips. I kiss her warm cheek when she continues to mover her head and can feel her hot breath fan my face. I bend my head down to kiss her cheek again when she moves her face and I kiss her lips. I try to move away instantly, but her hands wrap around my neck and she holds me in place, her lips moving on mine. I feel frozen in place as her lips move against mine, unsure of what to do. “Move your f*****g lips, dumbass,” Jax directs from my mind, breaking me from my temporary paralysis. I decide to ignore the knot in my stomach telling me that this is a bad idea and I kiss her back, hoping to show her how much she means to me. Her lips are so soft and plump and I find myself biting and licking them. Her tongue slides out to play with mine and I hear her sigh slightly. The taste of her mouth alone has me engrossed, but her soft moan fills me with need. My hand moves onto her waist, gripping her shirt tightly. I feel my manhood stiffening and curse myself for being so easily aroused. I try to back my waist away from her, but she drapes her leg around me. I feel my face heat, knowing that she will obviously feel how alert I am. It feels like our kiss ends all too soon as the need for oxygen overpowers our moment of passion. When our lips part, I feel like I am frozen with fear. My nerves are paralyzing me, not knowing what she will do or say next. She smiles, easing me slightly, “It must have taken a lot of practice to kiss that good.” Her comment makes my face flush, if she only knew this was my first kiss. She catches me off guard and I feel like a cat has caught my tongue. Say something. Say anything! “Tell her yes. Maybe she will get jealous,” Jax says. “No, what if that makes her sad,” I retort as he huffs. “She sucks on that asshole Alpha’s face all the time. What the f**k does it matter?” he growls back. “Jayce?” she whispers, reminding me that I still have not answered her. “I-,” I stutter and pretend to clear my throat. Her expression turns serious, “Jayce, was that your first kiss?” I can feel my face on fire and I sit up to get out of the heat of the blanket. It was too darn hot in here. “Oh Jayce, I didn’t mean to ruin that for you,” she says, sitting up next to me and resting her chin on my shoulder and wrapping her arms around my bicep in a tight hold. “You didn’t ruin it. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to share that first with,” I say, trying to sound cool. She smiles sadly, “I hope someday, someone will see you like I do.” I smile back and shrug my shoulders. I didn't want anyone else to see me though. She shoves my shoulder playfully, “I bet this is the first time you’ve snuck out too, huh.” “You’ve taken two of my firsts now,” I say, hoping to sound playful. She does her evil giggle and I know she is about to do something mischievous. “Come here,” she says softly, pushing me so I scoot back to the blankets and adjusting the pillow against the wall so that I am sitting down and leaning against it. I nearly jump when she slides on top of me, sitting down on my swollen p***s. My hands go up like I am afraid to touch her and she just laughs. She grabs my hands and moves them to her thighs and I am about to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. “Tara, what are you doing?” I ask nervously as she wraps her hands around the back of my neck. “I want you to know what you’re doing when the time comes. To be confident in yourself,” she says as she takes my lips in hers. “Yes, let her! Goddess knows that we probably won’t ever get laid,” Jax snides. I close my eyes as she kisses me passionately, guiding me sensually. Her scent surrounds me like a warm blanket, but it’s mixed with something else. I can feel her hips moving slightly, making me groan out and immediately feel embarrassed. She pulls away for a moment to whisper in a sultry voice, “It’s okay to be turned on, Jayce. That’s the point.” She presses her lips against mine again and begins to rock her hips making me dig my nails in her thighs. I groan and feel like I am getting close. I can’t c*m. Goddess, that would be embarrassing. “Please stop, Tara. Stop moving,” I moan into her mouth, but she only moves faster. Her own moan escapes her lips and Jax growls possessively. “Tara,” I say warningly. Wow, this feels too good. “Just…I’m almost there, Jayce,” she moans and I feel a flush of nervousness mixed with lust for more. “Jayce..kiss my neck,” she says as she turns her head slightly. Her sensual voice hinted with need has my p***s twitching. The way my name rolls off of her tongue, has me biting my lip to keep from moaning. I work up the courage to kiss her softly, not quite sure how I am supposed to do it. The friction of her movement on my c**k has my toes curling and I feel my d**k stiffening, signaling how close I am. I begin to kiss with fervor, licking and nipping at her soft, sweet skin when I reach her marking spot. I’ve always heard this spot was the most sensitive. And when I mean I heard about it, I mean Ernest wouldn’t shut up about it when he heard it from his player of an older brother. He insisted that we both needed to know about these things when the time came for us. I scoffed at him even then, but now, I think I owe him an apology. I nip lightly making her moan loudly as her nails dig into my shoulders, her body shaking softly and I think she has just climaxed. I hope she has reached her end because hearing her whine pushes me over the edge and I can’t stop the explosion in my pants. We are both panting and now I am so worried that things will be awkward between us after this. This was intense. I really hope this didn’t ruin our friendship. As our eyes meet, a smile forms on her face, making me smile and blush. I want to keep staring into her gorgeous eyes, but my vision begins to blur once more and I reach for my glasses. She smiles when I put them on and slides off of me. Her phone begins to vibrate frantically on the blankets and she launches at it. “s**t,” she says looking at me with wide eyes. “My dad. They’re looking for me,” she says as she scrambles to find her jacket. We head down the clubhouse and before we part ways, Tara grabs my arm, making me turn to her. “Oh and by the way, Happy Birthday Jayce,” she says with a smile and handing me a small rectangular present. —- I check my phone when I wake, but I don’t have any messages. I shower, feeling sticky from last night, and head out to the bus stop. I hop on and decide to get a few extra minutes of sleep in, still feeling a bit tired from being up late last night. Leaning my head against the window I doze off momentarily when I feel someone bump into my shoulder lightly. I look beside me to see Tara sitting next to me. She smiles and I nearly jump up, adjusting my glasses and wiping the drool from the side of my mouth. “Did you sleep well?” she says with a smile, making me blush. I clear my throat, “Did you get in trouble?” I ask. She only shrugs her shoulders, giving me a smirk and I can’t help feeling a bit turned on by her rebelliousness. “Why are you riding the bus?” I ask curiously. “Dad says I can’t ride with Mason anymore. He thinks I snuck out to see him last night. Says it’s not ‘Luna like’,” she says with a smirk. I blush and look down at my hands. I feel my phone vibrate and pull it out to see that Ernest has texted me. He’s asking about our homework from Chemistry and I am in the middle of replying when Tara yanks the phone from my hand. “Hey..” I say as I look at her questionably, but don’t attempt to take the phone from her. I have nothing to hide from her. She’s scrolling through something and then I see her take a selfie, a kissy face with a wink. I raise my eyebrow as she hands me back my phone. “I just wanted to see what picture you had of me as my contact, but you didn’t have one. Now you do,” she says with a smile. I look down at the picture she took and smile. “All it’s missing is little devil horns,” I say teasingly as she bursts into laughter. We shuffle out of the bus and see that Mason and his minions were waiting for her. “I’ll talk to you later, Jayce,” she says as she walks to the moron. I watch her hips sway and then look back up to see Mason locking eyes with me. He smirks and then pulls Tara in for a kiss. I am flashed with anger momentarily until I remember the things we did last night and smile triumphantly to myself. I find Ernest and Danny waiting at my locker. “Happy Birthday Jay. Though, I’m not sure about the happy part. You look like you didn’t get any sleep,” Ernest says as he pushes his glasses up. “Thanks, but could you not tell people. I don’t want them trying to give me Birthday licks like they did last year,” I say while the guys agree. We part ways when we get to the Senior Wing. I walk in to Mrs. Whitmore’s class and almost die of shock. Tara is sitting at her desk, early, before the bell rings, writing notes on today’s chapter. She smiles when she sees me and I hesitantly take my seat next to hers. I shift my gaze to Laura who seems to notice my confusion and just smirks. I lean towards Tara and whisper, “Who are you and what have you done with Tara?” The girls giggle then the bell rings signaling the beginning of class.
