C40-Overwhelming Informations

Carlos's POV

"Listen very well, the three of you. I got information from the informants last night that vampires are lurking in this town; to kidnap and kill." I looked at them sternly, watching their reactions to what I said. As I watched the face of the three, they are not surprised. They look at each other, but officer Cris's face was pale and fear written on it. The room was filled with silence.

"So, what do you want to say about what I said?" I ask them to break the silence, still looking at them sternly.

"Why, they do these things to humans?" Colton asks with a frown.

"I don't know yet. So that is what I want to know. Why? And there is nobody I can entrust in this case, because no one would believe me if I say so." I complained and released a deep sigh.

"Don't worry chief, you can count on us," Allyson said. My attention goes to him.

"Really? You believe what I said?" I was surprised and ask them. They nod their heads with grins.

"Oh, you are my guys! I am so lucky to have you guys with me here. Oh, by the way. There is something I forgot to tell you." I say as I remember something important I did not tell them.

"What is it Chief?" Allyson says.

"I've got the information that three groups of vampires are pestering this town. There are the Bancroft Clan, Karayan Clan, and Kearne Clan. According to my reliable source, amongst the three clans, The Karayan is the most dangerous because they use black magic? So I want you guys to be careful and I am worried that humans are no match with these supernatural beings." I said.

"Don't worry, Chief, even we are humans, we can do the job just trust us," Allyson says. I smile at him. He is a brave man.

"I want you to get more information about this group. I don't know how you do it but I trust you on this matter. And by the way, these groups work for their leader named Vladimir." I said.

"Whhhaaattt?!" The three said in unison. I startle at their reactions.

"Why? Do you know who is this Vladimir is? I ask curiously. They look at each other again. Allyson and Cris point their lips to Colton. My eyes landed on him. We look at each other before he speaks.

" Yes. I know that f*****g bloody monster! If this Vladimir you are talking about is a vampire, too. Then we. have the same enemy." His hand fist into a ball.

"Oh, yes. He is a vampire, too." I said. This is it. At last another information. I thought. So I inquire immediately.

"So who is this Vladimir and how did you encounter?" I asked.

"This Vladimir is from Malkavian Clan. This vampire clan is famous for its madness and insanity. And they are dealing with demons. I am. dealing with him for years. That bloody monster is one hell of a lucky monster that always slips from my hand!" Colton said and hit my table with his fist. We stare at him. My table cracked from his hit. My suspect of him is stronger now.

"Oh, sorry, Chief." Colton apologized.

"It's ok," I said calmly.

"So how did your last encounter go?" I ask.

"A couple of days, I stalked him. I saw it in one of the building apartments in New York. He killed a couple there." He starts.

"Oh," I gasp.

"He killed the couple, getting a briefcase from this couple. I was late to save them. He escapes from the veranda, so I chase him until I corner him in the abandoned building on the outskirts of New York. We fight. I almost got the briefcase, but I still lost it." He gritted his teeth as he remembered.

"Oh, ok. So what is that inside the briefcase?"

"I don't know. That is why I need to get that briefcase from his hand. It is something for me to know what is it. Why did he kill that couple because of that? I smell something fishy. And I strongly suspect that thing is something to do also for the kidnappings and killings in your town." Colton explained briefly. I am speechless. I blink my eyes staring at him while the two are quietly listening. He makes sense, I guess.

"Do you mean what is inside of this briefcase is very important?" I ask.

"Yeah." He confirmed. I think my head is going to ache, as Alpha Daniel said, these things are not simple as they may seem. I rubbed my glabella. Now I got another piece of information that adds the missing piece of the puzzle to what is happenings in this town of Seward Park. I sighed deeply. It s too much information now, I was overwhelmed. I take my cigarettes to my drawer. I look at my watch. It is ten minutes before lunch. I didn't notice the time.

"Okay, it's overwhelming for me. It's almost lunchtime. Why I do not treat you for lunch guys." I said.

"Oh, that is cool, Chief!" Cris said happily.

"Why not?" Allyson says.

"Ok, Chief," Colton says.

The four of us go out from headquarters to take our lunch. I want to know more about Vladimir but I need to get a break first. We go to a restaurant near our headquarters.
