Elliot's POV
We march to uncle Muffy's coffin. We, together with the warriors pay him a salute farewell. The sky was displayed with beautiful fireworks to honor uncle Muffy. The coffin lifts by the warriors and we stride towards the place where it should be. We prohibited the other pack members to join us. Only family members were allowed and some warriors.
The guards prohibited the pack and the friends of Allyson to follow us. We go to the deep forest.
"Where are we, grandma, Elliot?" Allyson says. I hold my breath on what grandma will say. I don't know if grandma Alice will tell him the truth this time so I remain quiet.
"Allyson, we are in the deep forest of our boundary." Grandma Alice says. She is staring at Allyson.
"Yes, grandma. I see it but why here? Is our ancestral mausoleum entrance is here?" Allyson says. Grandma Alice and I stare at each other first before she speaks.
"Yes." Grandma Alice said. I sigh, knowing that little by little Grandma Alice will feed the truth to Allyson so soon. And this is good, I guess.
"Grandma, this place is creepy," Allyson says. He stares at the surroundings.
"For humans, for us, its haven." Grandma Alice reply. I know he doesn't understand what grandma says but later, for sure. He will.
"W-what do you mean by that?" Allyson says with confusion.
"Allyson, there are so many things I want to say to you, but for now, it is really important to let your uncle into his resting peace. We will explain everything in time." Grandma Alice reply. She strokes Allyson's face.
"Allyson, the next destination is not an ordinary place. You should keep quiet whatever you see or hear. Just walk with us. Never ask anything or questions anything until we are not yet passed on the bridge, understand" I informed him and to the warriors.
"Why?" Allyson asks.
"Because you will not come back here if you do so. So be a good boy. Just close your eyes whenever you feel like talking. We should not talk while not passing the bridge. The soul will get your soul, so if you want to stay alive, mind our words to you." Grandma Alice reply.
"O-ok," Allyson falters. His face is pale.
"Now, let's us be ready," Grandma Alice reply.
Remember stay quiet and continue walking," Grandma reply. She uplifts her right hand to hold the tree. The light from the tree comes out. It becomes a gold tree and the light spreads brightly. We cover our eyes from the light. When it subsided, we open our eyes.
Allyson and some warriors look at their surroundings. Coldness makes their bodies shiver. Fogs are covered all over the place terrifying sounds can be heard. We remained quiet and continued walking, leading us by Grandma Alice. I prepare myself for the surroundings. I positioned myself beside Allyson to protect him.
Ahead of us is the frightening bridge. We glance down, fogs are so thick that it covers the place so we don't have any idea down there. Terrifying sounds from big golden bats shattered the quietness of the place. It's sound piercing our eardrums but we continue to stride. One warrior gives up from the piercing sound. He fell and writhed in pain and made shout.
"Ahhhh! It hurts!" A bat swoop did and inhale his soul. A thin white smoke gets out from the warrior's body. After a while, the warrior's body dries up like a mummy. We are frightened, we look up at the bats, they are piling up surrounding us. Grandma Alice mind-linking us to communicate.
"I told you not to make a sound whatever happened. Those who want to die now can follow the dead warrior. Now, who wants to be the next?" She says. We shut our mouths and endure the pains.
Yes, your highness!" Warriors agree with Grandma Alice, answering in mind. Even Allyson heard Grandma Alice and he was surprised. How does she do that? As I heard his thoughts.
"So as you can see, we caught their attention so we should walk hurriedly this time but do not look at them, now. Again do not make any noise this time. Because they are now ready to attack in the battalion. Do I make myself clear?" Grandma Alice asks us. We all make nods and we carry on our plod quietly.
We finished passing through the bridge and we are now going to the ancestral mausoleum. The clouds and the golden stairs welcome us. We are amazed by the place. The golden stairs are sparkling and slowly fading after we step on them. An arch which made of platinum with gold intricate at its edge. In the middle of the arch is the amethyst stone, aquamarine at the right, and at the left is Carnelia. The Kunzite and Danburite are on both sides. In the center above is the Pheonix statue made of platinum. Its eyes were made of diamonds. The shrubs are golden. The trees' leaves have different colors of gems. They are lined up. We set our feet on this place at last and we took a deep breath in relief.
"Wait here," She asks. We follow her command. Jer head raises Pheonix statue.
"Oh, Divine Pheonix, please let us in inside our ancestral mausoleum." The sprinkling of her blood from her sliced palm makes the Pheonix eyes shine and move its head down, looking at her, us. Its are ruby red, now. The shine disappeared in the gate.
"Let's go inside." Grandma Alice says. We follow her.
