Tiffany's POV

The four used their power to escape.

"They escaped! They are the criminals that we are looking for maybe!" Colton exclaims.

"Yes, that is what I felt, too," I say.

"I guess so," Allyson said. My eyes landed on him. He smells good. Why is that? He smells forest and a musk.

"H-how did you do it?" Cris asks him. I stare at him intently.

"What?" He says, furrowing his brows.

"That you can run so fast that you passed to me and Colton." Says Carlos. He seems not human but he smell human with a delicious smell. What is it on him?

"I-I don't know. I just ran in all I might. How about you, Chief? You are lycan." Allyson ask Carlos.

"How did you know that I am a lycan?" Carlos said to him.

"Of course your features tell me so. You are like Colton in his lycan form." Allyson said.

"You knew he is a lycan? I thought you will say that I am a werewolf-like what others thought of me because I smell a werewolf." Carlos said. Then he looks at Colton. I furrow my brows.

"As I smell you yesterday, you are not human." Carlos said to Colton.

"So you do," Colton reply calmly. As I thought him as a lycan, too, now he admitted it. Well, its good to hae a lycan or werewolf to our side.

"So four of you are superhumans, two are humans, and one is questionable." Jasper suddenyl appeared joining in our conversation. He walks towards us crossing his arms.

"Why one is questionable?" John says. Jasper rolls his eyes.

"Are you blind? Did you not see what Allyson did? Aside from overpassing the two lycans here, he beat the crap of Darius." Jasper said. He chuckled.

"You knew that vampire?!" They said in chorus. I stay quiet. I am observing the forest if there still enemies. I don't want to be confident in this place.

"Of course I knew them." Then he looks at John and says; As I heard him but my ears hearing something not from the group.

"i***t!" John says, as I squinted my eyes looking keenly at the surrounding and I see a black smoke appearing at the branches of the tree.

"You stupid evil!" And will attack Jasper when I stops them. I stared at the black smoke for a moment.

"Hey, hey! Stop it you two. Let us not stay here. Let's talk to the other places." I says.

"He is right." Officer Gonzales said.

"Ok, let's move." Carlos said and he wink at Jasper and so he is gone in the blink of an eye. Carlos, somebody is here. There is a black smoke above the trees 60 degrees from your direction.

"Guys let's move out and don't talk while we are inside the forest. The forest has eyes and ears now let's move." Carlos said after receiving my legilemacy. We walk silently in the forest making our way out.

When we are out to the forest and pass the river, we went back to the place where our cars were parked. We drive our way back to the headquarters.

"Officer Gonzales, please buy lunch for us. We will take our lunch in the meeting room. Officer John, please accompany Officer Gonzales in buying our food." Carlos said. He gives Officer Gonzales the dollars to buy food.

"Let us have an emergency meeting team." We follow him inside the headquartes. The two buy our lunch.

Inside, Carlos doesn't speak for a moment. He is in deep thoughts.

"So what do you plan now, Chief?" I break the silence. Carlos looks at me and sighs.

"Let us wait first, Jasper. Why he is not yet here?" Carlos said. We shrug our shoulders. We heard a knock on the door. Allyson immediatley open the door. Officer Gonzales and John come in with our lunch.

"Let us eat first, guys," Carlos said. We are starting to get our food by ourselves and eat.

"I've never seen you running that fast before, Allyson?" As Cris whispered to Allyson. I glance at them. Listening to his heartbeat. I put down my wall in my mind and read Allyson's thoughts.

"Me, too, I don't know I have a talent for the candidate as sprint king. He! He! He!" He said. I think my speed has to be in my lycan blood as my grandmother told me last night that I have lycan blood but I couldn't tell them because as I've seen it is complicated that other people know about this so I should keep this secret to myself besides I don't know what happened to my parents and ancestors. Where are they?

Oh, it means he is not human? He is a lycan? Who is his ancestors and parents? I throw him glances while eating my food.

"Chief, I hope you do not get mad if I ask you questions." We all look to Officer Gonzales.

"It's ok, Officer Gonzales. You can ask questions as you like." The Chief said to continue eating his food not looking at Gonzales.

"S-sir you are a werewolf, (he look to Colton), like this Officer Campbell." As he said with amazement in his eyes.

"Hmmm..yes. But as Allyson said, I am a lycan, not a werewolf, perhaps I may look like but I am a lycan and so officer Campbell. I thought you are fun of supernatural stories, so what do you think now that we exist?" Carlos stares at him intently. I just continue my silence while listining to them.

"Uhm. Well, it's cool. As you can fight with our enemy, I guess."Officer Gonzales says stuffing food in his mouth.

" Good to hear that you still like us. We live with humans long before and we don't intend to destroy you or spread chaos but of course, some have evil minds. Like what we are hunting now." Carlos says. I agree with Carlos, at least he likes us.

Jasper appeared in the meeting room.

"So why are you late?" Carlos said to Jasper when he appeared. He has a poking face.

"I go hunting my food. You are eating and I am not?" Jasper said. John squinted his eyes to him. I roll my eyes.

"Is he with us, too?" Gonzales whispered to Cris.

"Yes," Cris answered him so Gonzales shut his mouth and just listen.

"Ok, so who are they? What did you know?" Carlos plops his elbows at the table and giving him his ears.

"They are from Bancroft Clan. Darius is their leader. When I came into that place I heard that woman scream so I went there. I saw them they killed the woman of course. They make her food and the other woman is Lana, the lover of Darius, she is from. Karayan Clan so as expected, I won't be surprised if she has no heart inside her body when the result from forensic is done." Jasper said. I snap when Gonzales drops his spoon with his mouth open.

"Why didn't you help the woman!" John said angrily. Jasper rolls his eyes and cross over his arms. I shook my head for John, here he go again. Tsk. Tsk.

"Why should I? I am undercover here, so I should do my mission the best I can. I cannot help that woman even I want, too. If I do they will be suspicious to me, you chicken head!" Jasper hissed. John will say something but Carlos cut him.

"Yes! He has a point, John. So don't be mad at him. You know his role is very important and complicated so he must be very careful and so are we." Carlos said. I pat John's shoulder. I look at him with a message to stop what he is doing, it's not good.
