C26- My Mate & Casper

Colton's POV

As we follow the young girl, I feel agitated. My wolf is restless. Then we follow them discreetly for thirty minutes when the woman goes to the right side. She is now outside the town city. She is walking along the quiet road where tall trees are in line beside it. She turns her back when she feels someone follow her, but the man is quick to hide and so as we. As she checked no one is following her. She walks again but this time, she walks hastily. Gripping her binder on her chest tightly. Maybe she feels the danger, she runs this time. The man appeared in front of her 1 meter away. I heard her gasps.

Why are you agitated, Casper? I asked my Lycan. He is howling in distress. Mate! Mate! is in danger. Casper said to me. I was surprised. She is our Mate? I asked. Yes, she is our mate. He replied. Why I don't know? I asked. You are busy on other stuff, i***t. Help our mate! He growled. Ok, Ok, why are you so hot-headed? Be cool, ok? I'm following her, right? He whimp. You're not cool! He said. I chuckled. Casper's ear alert when we heard them having a conversation.

" W-who are you? Why you are following me?" As our mate speaks.

"Well, you are such pretty for my Lord. My Lord, inviting you, so come with me with your own will and I will take you there." The vampire said. Casper wants to take over me but I controlled him.

"No! I don't know who you are nor your f*****g, Lord!" Our mate said. Wow! Our mate is brave even she is human. Casper's eyes look like a lovey-dovey. We deserve her. He added.

"Oh, that's harsh! I don't like it when you don't respect my Lord. You insolent woman!" He hissed and show his fangs.

"Aaahhhh!" Our mate. screamed and runs towards the forest. The vampire laugh. As our mate is in danger, Casper pulls me inside.

"Oh, you want to play hide and seek young, lady! Very well. Hide, very well. Ha! Ha! Ha!" And the vampire runs to follow the girl at his vampire speed. I look at Allyson as I can't control Casper, now.

"Get on my back." As I shifted to my Lycan form, Casper. Allyson is like a stone, standing beside me looking at my lycan. I muzzled him and he snapped back. He quickly rides at my back and I run at my speed, we run following the two.

We saw my mate stop and desperately looking for a way to escape. She runs in the opposite direction when the vampire appears at her front. She stumbles backward on the ground and moves away from the vampire, crying.

"N-no! Go away! D-don't go near me!" My mate cries in plead.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Why I should follow you, hmm?" The vampire said.

"Help! Somebody help me, please!" My mate shouts at the top of her lungs. As I run faster to save my mate, hearing her cries makes my heart squeezes. When we are near them, The vampire stops laughing and attacked her. I leap and attack his back. Allyson slides from my back and runs to my mate to save her. I fight the vampire. I growl at the vampire. He hissed.

"You bloody beast! Go away! You filthy beast!" The vampire said. I snarl at him. I attack but the vampire dodges my attack so quickly. He slashed my back but I manage to dodge it and defend myself from the punch that he throw at me. I quickly made a counter-attack that I snapped the arm of the vampire with my fangs.

"Ahhhhh!" The vampire scream and I throw him to the ground. I made a stance to fight him again. The vampire hissed.

"You f*****g monster! You hurt me. Nobody can hurt me like this!" The vampire said and his red eyes turn to slits. I growl. The vampire flicked his hand and an invisible force throw me on the trees, I'm not ready for his trick. I feel the back of my head aching. I feel dizzy. I heard Allyson shout my name before I lost consciousness.

"Colton!" Allyson shout.

Darkness filled me in for I don't know how long. I slightly move my head. I smell the most intoxicating fragrance. It's a combination of Ylang-Ylang and orange zest. I feel someone shaking my shoulder.

"Hey, buddy are you alright?" Allyson's voice. I open my eyes and look at the woman beside Allyson. Her hands are holding the shoulder of Allyson. I stood up quickly and growled to Allyson. Which Allyson made surprised. They step backward.

"Hey, buddy, are you ok? What happened to you?" Allyson asked in worry. I took a breath deeply and look away. I felt jealousy because my mate's hands is on Allyson's shoulder. Casper gritted his teeth and scratched. I am controlling him. I look at my mate's face and can't help myself away from the pull. I grab my mate's hand, pull her away from Allyson, and hugged her tightly.

"Mine!" I said aggressively. The girl was utterly surprised and Allyson was confused.

"Hey, man? Do you have amnesia? What is happening to you? And why you are hugging the girl? Man, it's not good. Do you know? Tsk!Tsk!" Allyson shook his head while rubbing his forehead. I clear my throat after realizing what he means. Though I don't want to be away from my mate, I let go of her.

"I-i'm s-sorry," I said apologetically to the girl.

"Uhm, it's ok." Said the girl. Allyson sighed.

"Oh, buddy! You're back. I thought you've got amnesia from your crash." Allyson tapped my shoulder.

"Oh, what happened?" I asked. I furrow my brows trying to remember what happened.

"Well, you missed the action. You sleep the entire fighting scene." Allyson chuckled. I open my mouth with an 'O' shape and look at my mate. My mate smiled at me nodding. It is the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

"W-what is that I missed?" I asked confused.

"Buddy, let's go home first. I'm hungry. Hey, is it ok to you to come with us? My home is near here, that, if you won't mind?" Allyson asked the young lady. I growled at him which makes them snap their heads at me.

"Oh, sorry." I immediately apologized. Casper, stop it. I said to my Lycan. Stop your buddy from flirting with our mate. He said snarling. You are the one who should stop. He doesn't know about this mate thing, so it's not his intention. I said. Even so. He stubbornly said. Oh, yeah? Then why do you lose in fighting? If Allyson is not here do you think we are still alive? Our mate is still alive? No! We are corpses. So stop doing non-sense. He grumbled and I push him at the back of my mind.

"Ok," our mate said. I smile widely.

"So, let us take a walk here," Allyson suggests.

"Hey, no, for her, it's too tired to walk to your home. Give me your key and wait for me here. Will get your car." I refused.

"Oh, yes! Ok, get the car. Here is the key." As Allyson pulled the key from his pocket jeans and give it to me.

"Hey, I have an idea, why don't we go back to the town city and get the car. I'm afraid that another vampire is lurking here. And maybe we can eat in restaurants there." As the girl said embracing herself and looking around. She was so afraid. I like my mate's idea.

"Oh, ok, that is a better idea. Come let's go." Then we went outside the forest and started to take the road back to the town city.
