C27- Can You Keep My Secret?

Third Person's POV

"What is your name lady?" Colton asked, he walks beside her while Allyson walks at the front.

"I'm Melissa, Melissa Gibbons." My mate said. Her mesmerizing eyes captured my senses.

"I'm Colton Campbell. And that is my friend, Allyson Alder." He pointed to Allyson and Allyson turn back his head and grinned.

"It's me." Said Allyson grinning. They laughed.

" Thank you for trying to save me both," Melissa said. Colton is ashamed of himself for he slept that he doesn't know what happened and how Allyson saved the three of them from the vicious vampire. He is just a human, how can he save us? Colton thought.

They are now in the city where their pick-up car is parked. They decided to choose a restaurant near the place because they are hungry. They choose a restaurant that serves grilled meat and steak.

"So lady's first. Get your order, Melissa." Colton said. His seat beside Melissa ad Allyson is across from Colton.

"Thank you. I go for steak and garlic bread, coke, and water." Melissa reply. As the waiter write her order.

"Mine is grilled pork belly, mushroom soup, muffin, and Sprite." Colton order.

"Mine is the same with him but my drink is coke." Said Allyson. The waiter went away to get their orders.

"So, Allyson, how did you defeat that vicious vampire?" Colton curiously asks him. Allyson burst into laughter when he heard Colton's question. Melissa hides her smile but still can't stop her giggle. Colton is more curious to what the reaction of the two.

"Dude! Really, how strong you think about me to defeat that vicious vampire. Thank you for that thinking but honestly, I am human, my strength is no match to him. Look at you, you fell unconscious when he hit you with his invincible power while you are supernatural. So how can I fight him alone?" Allyson said. Colton gulped and his face reddened with shame remembering what happened in front of her mate. He clears his throat.

"Then who save us?" He asks.

"A woman," Melissa said. Colton looks at Melissa. The waiter come to them and put their orders on the table. Allyson starts to dig his food. He slices his pork belly and puts it into his mouth before speaking.

"Yes! A woman, a vampire appeared and save us. She is stronger than that vicious vampire." Allyson says as he continues digging his food.

"Oh," Colton exclaimed and start eating his food so did Melissa.

"So, you mean, a she-vamp appeared and save us?" I asked with my eyes wide eyes. I couldn't believe what I heard.

"Uh-huh," Allyson reply concentrating on his food still, not looking to Colton.

"So what the she-vamp did to that vampire? Did he kill him?" I ask more curiously.

"No. She didn't kill him, she cuffed his hand with some kind of glowing ..something like that. It appeared on that man's hands and she disappeared with the man." Melissa said.

"She said, that they must have a chitter-chatter with her friend. I think she will torture that vampire to get information. Because the vampire said he is doing this because it was an order and he is hungry" Allyson says, he drinks his coke.

"Oh, isn't that she-vamp was the one that the twin told us?" Colton eyes wide remembering the twin's report. Allyson loses his fork suddenly looks at Colton.

"Yeah. I think so. So it means she can get the information we need." Allyson's eyes grow wide.

"So, we need to find her, asap," Colton said.

"I agree with you," Allyson says. Melissa doesn't understand what they are talking about.

"Hey, what you two are talking about?" Melissa asks. Colton and Allyson looked at each other, both forgot that Melissa is still with them.

"Oh, nothing. Melissa, can you keep my secret?" Colton said. Looking to her eyes intently. Melissa seems attracted to his eyes

"Yes." Melissa nod at him.

"You see I am a werewolf...no I'm a lycan," Colton says.

" And he is a policeman," Allyson added. Both look at him. Colton furrows his brows for Allyson's interruption. Then he looks to Melissa again. Melissa has a surprised look.

"Is it true? You are a policeman." Melissa asks.

"Yes. It's true." Colton reply with a smile.

"No problem then. I will keep your secret that you are a werewolf." Melissa said.

"No, I am not a werewolf, I am a Lycan." I corrected her.

"Oh, isn't the same?" Melissa said. Colton rolled his eyes.

"Lycan is ancient and stronger than a werewolf," Colton said proudly.

"Oh, man. Yes, you are stronger than a werewolf so that is why you were knocked off by the invincible power of your enemy." Allyson says sarcastically, rolling.his eyes.

"Hey, are you my buddy or my enemy?" Colton said pouting.

"Man, I am saying the truth. And I am your buddy that is why I'm telling you this. Next time be sure you will not be knocked off so that you are sure alive and you can save us." Allyson said chuckled. Colton huffed.

"Ok, back to the secret of yours, I will keep it a secret in one condition?" Melissa smile sheepishly. The two both look at each other.

"What is it?" They said in unison.

"Well, let me be your friends, update me on your mission, and tell me about your supernatural things. I love to listen to supernatural things since I was a kid. And my grandmother telling me bedtime stories about that so now it's time to know the truth if what she told me is true, you know." Melissa smiles widely and she stuffs the steak into her mouth.

"Oh," Colton says blinking his eyes.

"Oh, are you serious? It's dangerous for you." Colton said.

"I don't mind. After all, this town is full of mystery nowadays. Missing teenagers like me, unresolved mysteries of murders. So, now I know at least who is the criminal." Melissa said, her chin up.
