1272 Words
Elliot's POV I look for Butler Ulfred. I saw him checking rooms on the second floor. "Good Morning, Guardian Elliot." He gives me a curt nod. "I want to talk to you, Butler Ulfred, in private," I said to him. "Yes, Guardian Eliot," Butler said. He opened the one room and lock it after we enter. "Yes, guardian. What is it something important you want to say?" Butler Ulfred says. I wave my hand to make the room soundproof. "Grandmother Alice will take a long journey. You will accompany her." I said. The butler is surprised at what I said. "A-a long journey? Where is that place?" The butler said. "To Tesuprepolycanae," I reply. He gasps. "Oh, my moon goddess! Is this mean that somebody open the gate of the main hall last night?" He says assumingly. "Yes," I reply. "So who among the three werewolves has blood to open it?" He asks. "They are not werewolves. They are lycans. When they broke the spell last night, their coated scents were broken, too." I said. His eyes grow wide and he happily jumps like a kid. "Oh! Oh! They are lycans. At last! They are here." He said happily. "Don't yet rejoice because we are not sure if we can trust him," I said seriously. He stops on his jumping and is stunned for a jiff. He is blinking his eyes, looking at me. He clears his throat then and stretches his uniform. "Oh, you are right. Sorry I was over-excited. He! He! So who is he?" He says. "I am not yet sure of that so I want you to call them, three. Grandmother Alice wants to talk to them, asap. And by the way, prepare for burial for Muffy." I said controlling my emotion when saying Muffy's name. His mouth shape 'O' with a tick. Burdulf is whimpering when he heard the name. "M-Muffy is dead?!" He said unbelievably. Putting his hand on his mouth. His eyes start to moist as I nod silently. He whimpered trying not to make a loud noise. I sniff. I understand his feelings for Muffy. "Ok. After you've done. Collect yourself, Asap. The trio needs to talk to my grandma and you prepare the honorable burial for Muffy before grandmother leaves." I said in a low voice, tapping his shaking shoulder and leaving him alone in the room to give him space. I gathered myself first after leaving quietly the butler. I Send links to the warriors and guards to give instructions. "Warriors and guards! Don't let your guard down. From today onwards, war is coming near. So be strict to the boundaries and clearing, for anytime the prophecy is taking action now." I heard their gasps and whispering. "Listen, all of you. Last night the gate of the main hall was opened. So you know what it means. So carry your duty in strict compliance now as I am expecting you all to be loyal and honest to this Kingdom. And we will give Muffy an honorable burial today. Train yourself more strictly. Prepare for the coming war." I said. I hear them in shock and grieving. I close my link from them not waiting for an answer. My heart aching like them and like the butler, even my lycan but there are more important things I should handle for a moment, I should carry on. I go downwards and look for Allyson. "Good morning, guardian. Are you looking for his highness?" One of our housekeepers asks me. "Yes. Where he is?" I ask. "He, Colton, and Cris are going to the town city for reporting." She said. "Oh, ok. Thanks." Then I stride to the kitchen to get my breakfast. The whole castle is busy preparing the burial for Muffy. I get Muffy's body with the help also of other warriors. We put him first in the running to wash his body, dry him with large towels. Then we put him in the pool of honey and acetum for an hour. after an hour, we get his body and put him in the big towel. I wave my hand, then the honey and acetum coated his body. And we carefully cover him with the white velvet cloth before putting him in his casket of a higher rank warrior. We place it at the platinum coffin with the gold plated on each edge. The mark of the royal warrior embedded at the upper center of the coffin bellow his name ' Royal Warrior: General Muffy'. The warriors carry General Muffy's coffin, marching at the front of the castle when the twins go outside. They are confused about what is happening. They looking each other anxiously. They follow the March going to the center. "Why are there are so many people? And who is dead?" Lex whispers to Alex. Lex shrug his shoulder but he touches his pointed finger on the shoulder of the housekeeper in front of him who is weeping. She glances at her back. She saw Alex. "Who died?" Alex asks. The housekeeper sniff, before answering. "Our Old General died." She said wiping her tears with her handkerchief. Her eyes are red from crying. "Oh, general?" the twin said in unison. The housekeeper nod and back her attention to the marching funeral. The grand door opens, grandma Alice in her warrior attire appears. All is bowing to her except the twins who are more perplexed this time. Grandmother Alice has a sword walking down the stairs ar the middle then she stops. "We will wait for Allyson before we proceed. They are near now." Alice announce. They heard the sound of the car and follow its direction to see. The car stopped at the front of the castle. The three come outside with confused looks. Allyson was surprised, looking at his grandmother in a warrior suit with a sword with letters that he couldn't understand. He is walking in the direction of his grandmother. "G-grandmother, what is happening? Who is dead?" Allyson asked. Alice is controlling her tears to fall, she looks sadly into Allyson's eyes. "Our General Muffy. Y-your uncle Muffy is dead. I don't know if you remember him, but when you are a child he always carries you in his arms as your father did. When you start to walk he is there with you. When you know how to run you always chase him. And when you are five you did a prank on him, push him to the pool of lotus with lots of frogs which he hates most. When you are seven he trained you in hunting." Grandma Alice said. Allyson's eyes grow bigger when he remembers the face of a man who he always plays piggybacks. He remembers also that he always carries him on his shoulder. His tears fell when he remembered. "Who killed him? When he did arrive? Why I didn't know he's back?" Allyson asks. Crying aloud this time. Grandma Alice immediately hugs him and cooed. "Stop crying. It's his time. It's his destiny to live until last night." Grandma Alice said. Allyson stops crying and looks at her grandmother's face. "Last night? He was here last night, alive?" He asks. "Ali, your uncle doesn't leave the castle as you thought. He always stays here at the castle watching us. Guarding us." Grandma Alice said. Allyson furrows his brows. I clear my throats. "Grandma since Allyson is here, let's start our farewell to our uncle General Muffy," I said, sniffing. "Oh, yes. Your uncle wants to leave in peace now, Allyson. Let's bid farewell to him. Allyson follows grandma Alice silently.
