C137- My Attempt To Kill

Amanda's POV

I was glad that I enter the Bancroft Mansion again. I wear my sleeveless royal blue sparkling gown with a heart shape frontal cleavage style. It fits my body curves with a free-flowing style with a slit on its right hand.

Of course, I won't miss this special occasion. I walk elegantly to the entrance of the mansion. I saw Andrea Karayan. I arch my brow.

"Why she is here outside?" I decided not to come inside yet. I open myself. pouch to get a thin cigarette and lit it up. I smoke on the porch nearby the entrance of the mansion. There is a table and chairs and I occupy one of them. Watching those people. and vampires entered the gate. I quietly observe my environment. A vampire looks at Andrea and Andrea did the same too.

"Hmm. Seems they are attracting to each other, huh!" As I puff out the thin smoke into the air. I put my cigarette into the ashtray and lit up another one. When I look at the couple who Andrea is walking towards, it was a beautiful couple. The woman is so elegantly sophisticated with an innocent beauty while the man is handsome and gorgeous.

"Hmm...humans," I smirk.

"Poor people. Tsk! Tsk! You don't know that your life is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you get." As I remember the quote in the movie forest gumps. I don't know if I feel sympathy for them, as I look up at the moon, I know their greatest nightmare is coming so soon.

This party is for Vladimir's come back after the absence of a month or two. They held the party to honor him as one of the Lords of the vampire and course to please him. To please him they invite guests and offer it to him. He will decide if he will kill them sucking them to death or the woman will be his kiss doll who will serve him blood by giving her blood and if he needs to and sometimes s*x if he likes the human doll more than to be his source of blood. Andrea meets them then they go inside the mansion. I stay a little bit more outside when I spotted Jasper is coming so I immediately hide as I remember my sister's warning to me, 'Stay away from him. You two will be a disaster.' My sister was not a liar. She always wants me to be happy with a man but this one is not yet, maybe, not my more or beloved. I hope and pray to the Moon Goddess that to meet him as soon as possible.

Jasper goes inside the mansion. I sigh in relief. I took a few seconds more before I get in. I let my hair rebonded, colored it with lavender and, let it flow to hide my face from him. I make also very thick makeup to hide my face but still, it never hides my natural beauty. I also make a fake mole on my face to hide my identity. So the time I spent in the spa yesterday is worth it tonight.

As I am inside the mansion, the music gets louder. The vampires and humans are on the dance floor having fun and enjoying the music. I spot a little dark side of the room so I went there as I met the waiter I get my wine. I will drink the wine when I smell something odd to the wine, so I didn't drink it.

"Why this wine is smell odd." I look at the wine suspiciously. I put the wine on the table. I stop for a moment when I realized something. Did somebody want to assassinate Vladimir and this whole vampire crowd? Oh! Goddess, Jasper! I frantically look for Jasper but I couldn't see him. Where is he? Oh, my goddess, please save him.

Then Darius gets on the stage and calls Vladimir. The latter went to the stage to give an opening speech and announce that the three famous commanders will visit Seward Park. Afterward, he called the guests on the stage. I am looking for the opportunity to get near to him. I forgot Jasper at this moment. I focus on my purpose at this party. I go near the stage and wait for the opportunity to execute my plans but something happen I didn't expect. The two human guests fight the vampires.

"Why these two humans are strong to fight with the vampires?" I mutter to myself. I watched them on the stage until I saw a purple light move into the air in a spiral motion. It was from Dina. Dina is the leader of the Kearne Clan. She is a vampire-witch like Karayan.

I was surprised when the human girl who fights back the vampires creates a light that absorbed the spell of Dina she casts for them. Its means this girl is not an ordinary human. Then there was a blackout but before it happened I was near Vladimir. I spotted him and so I was about to execute my plan when somebody stumbled with me and I lost my silver knife. I searched for the knife. The lights back which exactly I recovered my silver knife and hid it quick. Vladimir and his troupe chaste the two I run also after them to watch and have still an opportunity to get close by to Vladimir.

The gates were closing and the humans were trapped. I hid. Vladimir wants to kill them but the woman is ready to fight until she reveals her true identity.

"A vampire?!" I murmured. I continue watching them fighting with Vladimir and I discovered that the two were with groups and the guy transformed into a supreme lycan. There was a light appearing in the sky, a portal, a bunch of lycans, and so on.

"Hey, what is happening?" I ask to confuse myself. Then Vladimir and remaining of the vampires escaped from the hands of lycan warriors.
