Amanda's POV
I couldn't believe what I saw. It's like a war between the vampires and the lycans. I just watched them until the end and I disappeared from home.
"Amanda!" Laura shouts happily when she sees me appear on the porch of the house. She runs to me and gives me a bear hug.
"Oh, my you alive!" She said. As I walk inside the house and slam my body to the couch to rest. Laura sits at the corner couch.
"So what happened? Tell me are you alright?" Laura said checking me.
"Yeah. I am alright don't worry." I said closing my eyes. I don't like her to notice that I am worried about Jasper.
"Then why is that your face says something else?" Laura asks. I look at my sister.
"Because something else happened," I said frankly. Her brows meet.
"What do you mean? What 'something happened." Laura asks.
"Could you give me something to eat first? I am hungry." I said.
"Oh, " Laura says and hurriedly gets the blood from a bottle of wine with a goblet and gives them to me.
"Here," she says. I hurriedly get them from her hand and drink the blood. Laura watches me while drinking till I am satisfied and full.
"So what happened?" Laura asks again.
"It twisted," I reply. Wiping my mouth by my hand.
"What do you mean 'it twisted'?" Laura asks. I took a deep breath first before I speak to her.
"Two of their human guests attempt to assassinate them," I answered back.
"What? Assassinate them? How?" Laura asks in surprise.
"Yes. It is true." Then I tell the story to Laura from beginning to end except about Jasper.
"It means, not only us desires to kill him," Laura says with glee.
"Uhuh, and I am thinking if my new idea is good." I spill out.
"What is your new idea?" Laura asks.
"Joining the force of Vladimir's enemy, Laura. And like what I was said, they were not only two, but the group of lycans and humans were joining forces. Is this not good? What do you think?" I ask.
"Hmm. I agree. I think it is nice to join them. It is easy to beat the enemy if you were to join the forces with them, I believe. But how could you find them? As you told that they enter the portal and they are with the sorcerer?" Laura says in a soft voice.
"Not to worry. I can handle that for the meantime let us rest." I said and pull her to go upstairs for her to sleep. I am not sleeping for the night.
Laura is sleeping in her bedroom. I close her door carefully after checking her out. I go to the balcony and lit a cigarette. I look to the moon. Stared at it blankly until I was tired and sit on the chair.
I puff the smoke out of my cigarette. into the air. I remembered Jasper at the Bancroft Mansion.
"Where are you, Jas?" I whispered. The wind blows my hair playfully.
"I pray to the Moon Goddess that you are fine," I said solemnly.
Jasper's POV
As the special event in the Bancroft Mansion coming, Tiffany visits me and tells me the mission plan of the team. She advises me to give what the best I can do for the night.
I searched Amanda but I failed. I went home broken again and again but I still prepare the tuxedo I will wear at tonight's event as I got an invitation. my friend Susie. I set my mind for this event tonight.
"We have a mission tonight, Jas. Look Amanda for later. Or don't look for her anymore because the more you look for her the more she hard to find, right? Right." As I lift myself and it made sense. I continue drying up my hair and excess water in my body to wear my Tuxedo for tonight.
I go early to the venue. I just observed and checked the people and vampires who came. I am hoping that I see her again at this event at least. I saw Colton with the computer staff. Tyler and John on the other hand are playing waiter. Tiffany and Allyson were not yet arrived. As I looked at the entrance of the mansion, a woman who wears a royal blue sparkling gown caught my attention. Why do I feel I knew her? I've seen her before? I thought. I am trying to recognize her but I can't remember where I met her. Only the beautiful face of Amanda appeared in my mind.
"It is impossible that girl to be her, tsk!" As I shook my head. I look at the woman again. She has straight hair with a colored lavender. She has a mole on her face. A very opposite of Amanda. I join the other vampire until Susie came.
"Where have you been?" Susie asks.
"I am just here, why?" I reply.
"I want you to introduce me to my friends, come on." Susie held my hand to go with her friend's group.
Later, I spotted Tiffany and Allyson together with Dina of Kearne were introduced to Darius and the gang.
I received a message from Colton through text messages. I exit the corner door of the hall to meet Colton.
"Hey, what do you need me for?" Colton says to me.
"I need your assistance. There is a couple of vampires who exits here a while ago. Now, I want you to help me to get the content of this vial to drink by that she-vamp. Can you help me?" Ask Colton.
"Huh?! What do you want for that she-vamp for?" I ask. Colton smacks my head.
"You dirty head! It was part of a mission. Chief's command!" He hissed.
"Oh, ok. I am sorry." As I rub the part my head h smacked.
"So where do we start?" I said.
"Come, follow me." He said and I follow.
