Third Person's POV
Carlos boarded the plane. He prayed to the moon goddess to keep his family and pack safe and that this journey of his will be successful. He stressed him out about the problems in Seward Park. Honestly, he won't know if Tiffany can help but she is a vamp and he does have a feeling that she can do it. So he should trust his instinct.
The time travel from Seward Park to Norway is ten hours and ten minutes. Carlos was exhausted for months so he took this opportunity to take his sleep.
Meanwhile, this early morning at Odda, after her night shift, Tiffany went home to take shower. John cooks their breakfast in the kitchen when Tiffany arrived.
"Hmm, smells good." As Tiffany entered her house.
"Yeah. It smells good and this will be delicious, too. I promise you." John winked at Tiffany. She laughs and goes upstairs.
"Ok. I'll change dress and go down in a minute, John."
"Ok. No problem, Tif. This will be done for a minute. I will set the table. Hurry up." As John put the omelet on the plate.
After five minutes Tiffany rushes downstairs. She pulls the chair, gets the omelet, and put it on her plate. She gets the toasted bread and spread it with butter and a slice of omelet and eats.
"Hmmm, this is super delicious!" She exclaimed.
"I told you." As John gets the toasted bread and stuffs it with an omelet and bites it.
"Wow!, John, you master human eating now." Tiffany gasped at what she saw. John looked at her proudly.
"Of course. Practice makes it perfect!" He held his chin up and smile.
"So how is it?" Tiffany asked.
"Hmm...it tastes bland." John reply.
"Aww!" Tiffany giggled.
"But it's fine. I enjoy chewing it at least, reminded me that I'm human before. He! He!" John said cheerfully.
"Oh, that's good of you. How about your family?" Tiffany suddenly asked nowhere.
"They are fine. Astrid calls every day and we talk about children. She always asks me when I should go home. She wants to visit me here and wants to know if I'm fine." He answered truthfully.
"So what did you say?" Tiffany curiously asked.
"The usual, of course," John replied flatly.
"So when will you visit them?" Tiffany asks afterward.
"Maybe this week. I will think about what alibi I should tell her if I don't stay at our home." He said sadly. She sighed.
"Don't worry. We can make a good excuse for that. Let's make them believe it so they will not be suspicious of you." She tapped his shoulder to comfort him. He smiled at her.
"Hey, are you not in a hurry? You will go to the airport to fetch your old friend, right?" John asked when he remembered that Tiffany has a foreign visitor arriving at the airport.
"Uhum..." As she nodded. Her mouth was full. She sipped her coffee.
"Yeah. I'm taking my shower now. Let's talk later." Then she teleported into her bedroom.
"Hey, can you teach me that one of these days?!" John shouted.
She did not reply because she is in a hurry. It's quarter to 7:00 am. The travel time from Odda to Oslo International airport is one hr and seven minutes. She teleported inside her car after she did a bath and changed her clothes. She wore waterproof boots and a trench rain jacket. It's raining.
John heard the car engine start, he hurriedly ran outside the door.
"Hey, Tif, don't forget to buy mozzarella and cream cheese!" John shout. Tif nodded. She waved goodbye to him and sped her car to the airport.
"Oh, man. She's teleported." As he remembered how Tiffany teleported in front of him from the kitchen.
" I wish I have that power like that. So that I can teleport to my family now and take a peek at them." John murmured to himself. His mobile rings. He excitedly pressed the button when he looked at the caller on the screen.
"Oh, hi, my beloved! How are you and the kids?" His wife Astrid called.
"We're good, John. Don't worry. How about you? Are you ok?" She asked with worry in her voice.
"Well, I'm good. I'm good, especially that you called." John said lovingly.
"Oh, John. I miss you. The kids miss you. When we can visit you?" Astrid asked. John kept silent for a minute before he replied.
"Well, don't worry my wife. My body is almost healing. The surgeon here said that maybe in a few weeks or days, I can check out." John thread white lies again.
"Oh, that is good to hear! We are worried especially because you never told us which hospital you are admitted to after Odda Medical Center." Astrid said.
"Don't worry, my friend who is a surgeon is good. I'm in the private clinic so not to worry." John comforted her.
"How about the expenses, John?" Astrid questioned worriedly.
"Not to worry, my surgeon treats me free," John replies.
"Oh, that is good to hear. Invite your surgeon when you come home, ok?" Astrid's voice lifted as she was excited to see his husband's
surgeon.
"Ok. Ok. Hey, I have to hang up now. I have to rest." John made an excuse for her.
"Ok. Ok. John. Take rest and do not worry about us. I love you. Bye," Astrid believed John so she agreed.
"I love you, too darling. Bye." John said.
At the airport, Tif parks her car. It's raining so she opens her umbrella. As she set her feet on the ground, the raindrops spatter on her waterproof boots. She turned around and get the extra umbrella for Carlos before closing the door. She walked inside the international airport's waiting area. She stood and held to the rail. She looked at her wristwatch. it said it was 8:15 am. The airplane was late for five minutes. Then after a while, a man who had a large build body and stands six feet tall emerged.
She waved her hands to get his attention. The man looked in her direction and smiled at her. He strode in the direction of Tiffany.
"Carlos! It is nice to see you, friend." Tiffany happily hugged Carlos.
"It's nice to see you, too, my friend." Carlos hugged her, too.
"Come on. Let's go home," Tiffany said. Carlos embraced one arm of Tiffany while his other hand pulled his luggage.
"Ok. Is your house far here?" Carlos asked.
"Yeah. We have to travel around for more than one hour." Tiffany replied.
"Ok," Carlos said.
"Here," Tiffany gives the extra umbrella to Carlos when they are at the exit. Carlos accepted it then he followed Tiffany to the parking lot. They opened their umbrella and walked toward the car that waited for them. Carlos opened the car door at the back, putting his luggage inside. Then he went to the front, beside Tiffany. Tiffany drove her car on her way home.
"Hey, would you mind cooking something meaty for Carlos?" Using my legilimency or thought-casting, in simple words, telepathy. We, vampires, do have this power.
"Oh, sure!" John said.
"Ok. Thanks." I happily replied.
"Anytime," John said.
I happily closed our mind link. I am focusing on my driving while having a chit-chat with Carlos
