Alpha Daniel's POV
We reached the Blue Moon Shadow pack. The pack welcomed our guests warmly but some others growl. But when I glared at them they were silent.
"Everybody, let us welcome our visitors. They will stay here and we've talked about it already before. So I don't want anyone from you to treat them injustice or nasty. They will help us and I believe in what Carlos said. So do you understand?" As I said in my commanding voice. The packs go submissive as their heads surrender to the Alpha. I mind-linking with them;
"A while ago, they were attacked by fledglings." The crowd gaped. Shocked were in their eyes.
"Carlos mind-linking me for help so we rushed to the open field. When we got there, we saw Tiffany, standing in the middle of the roof of the USV van fighting alone with all the fledglings that running after them while Tyler driving at speed to survive for their lives." I said to the crowd.
"Oh," The crowd said in unison.
"Yes, and this vampire, alone, fighting her kind is very powerful. So, guys, it's not a good idea to mess with her. She is so powerful that we've seen her different kinds of powers that make all fledglings diminished." The crowd was shocked. I closed our mind-linking and then proceeded to what I wanted to say.
"So, as you know, now. Let us welcome them to our pack if that is what these two guests would agree." The two nodded in agreement that they wanted to be in my pack.
"Yes, Alpha." They said in unison.
"Let me introduce them to all of you. This is Dr. Tiffany Brent." I said.
"Ah, a doctor? Wow!" One of the werewolves exclaimed. There was an admiration in his eyes.
"Yes, she is a doctor. Next, this is Johnson Olsen, a fledgling saved by Dr. Brent. You can call him John." The crowd looked at Tiffany full of admiration. Tiffany smiled at them.
"OK, so everybody back to your work and do what you have to do. You are all dismissed." I said to them.
"Yes, Alpha!" They said in unison and bowed down. Then I turned to Tiffany and John.
"Maybe you are tired and hungry, Let go to the packhouse and have dinner," I said in halt when I remembered something.
"Oh, not to worry about your food. I prepare blood for you two." I informed our vampire guests.
"Oh, that is kind of you Alpha Daniel but you don't have to worry about us, we eat human food," Tiffany said.
"Oh!" I was surprised by what she said. I looked at John and Carlos and they both nodded smiling widely.
"Oh, if that is so, then that is good." I smiled at my guests. And we proceed to the packhouse.
Tiffany's POV
When we reached the packhouse, a beautiful woman greeted us and smiled sweetly.
"Welcome to Blue Moon Shadow pack." The woman said. Besides her is a young man that ages seventeen years old and a young lady who is younger than the young man, I guess. The young man resembled Alpha Daniel and the young lady resembled both Alpha Daniel and the woman who warmly greeted us. Alpha Daniel snaked his arm to the hip of the woman.
"This is Esmeralda, my Luna. They are our children, Dan my son, and Esmee my daughter. They are twins." Both children greeted us.
" Welcome to our pack." As they both showed their pearly white teeth.
"Thank you," I said.
"Thank you," John said.
"Ok, let us go to the kitchen," Carlos said. Then we followed him.
As we entered the kitchen, there was a long white table with delicious food and fruits. Werewolves in human form sat in. All their heads were snapped to us.
"Good evening Alpha!" They said in unison.
"Good evening, guests!" I was surprised by their greetings. They smiled warmly.
"Good evening, too," I replied.
"Good evening!" John said.
"Ok, take your seats, and let us start our dinner." Alpha Daniel pulled the chair in the center and sat after he let his wife sit first on his right side. I took my seat beside Carlos and John took his seat beside Dan.
"Ok, let us start our dinner now." Alpha Daniel started. Then the werewolves were in unity getting their food on their plates. John and I did the same.
When we put the food on our plates, too, they were shocked. They stopped what they were doing. Some opened their mouth wide in shock and some almost popped out their eyes. Seemed that they had heard a taboo. One can't help to blurt out.
"Hey, that is human food and our food. We have special food for both of you." As he finished his sentence a woman entered the kitchen with a bottle of blood.
"Oh, it's ok. We eat also human food. So nothing to worry about." I smiled and continued putting steak on my plates.
"Yes, it is true. We eat human food so not to worry." John smiled and started digging into his food. I shook my head and let a small smile on my lips looking at John who was a foodie. The people around us were all shocked. The man who spoke dropped his jaws.
"Oh, is that true? Then maybe I should put this in your bedroom? What do you think? Maybe you want to drink this later?" The woman smiled at me. And I am so grateful for her suggestion. Before I reply her, John spoke.
"Yes! Yes! That is cool! Thank you. What is your name, please?" John courteously said.
"Oh, I am Maria. I am chef cook here." Maria smiled showing her two dimples.
"Oh! No wonder the food is good!" I said. "The steak is soft and very tasty," I remarked.
"Oh, thank you, Tiffany. You are flattering me." The crowd laughed at what Maria said.
"It's true Maria you cook good food always and it's delicious," Carlos said.
"Oh, thank you, Carlos. So I better put this in your bedroom. I'm going now." Maria walked out of the kitchen.
"You two are awesome! You really can eat human food." Dan said, smiling unbelievably as he watched us eat the steak.
We enjoyed our food and there was no air of animosity between us, the two different species. And I prayed that someday all creatures would be living in harmony and peace like what The Blue Moon Shadow Pack does. I admired Alpha Daniel for his leadership that made his pack in unity.
After our dinner, John excitedly went to his bedroom. I thought he was excited to see his bedroom but I was wrong! He was excited to go to his bedroom because of blood. He got the glass beside the bottle of blood, poured the blood in it, and gulped the blood.
"Ahhh! This is good, Tif! Come let's have a drink." John said happily, getting the other glass pouring the blood into it, and giving it to me. I chuckled at his reaction. He was like a kid. I accepted the glass and sipped it. He was right, this blood is so sweet and good.
"So, what do you think, I was right, don't you think so?" Jasper said happily.
"Yeah, you are right. This is sweet and fresh blood." Tiffany.
"Do you mean that fresh blood is sweeter than frozen?" Jasper asked blinking his eyes. He was funny. He has anime expressions. I laughed at loud.
"You are funny! Don't you know that? Ha! Ha! Ha!" I said laughing out loud.
"So you are enjoying your new rooms?" Carlos said as he entered the room.
"Yeah, I guess so. John is so funny. Thank you for this fresh blood. It is so sweet." I said gratefully.
"Never mind it. It's ok, Tif." Carlos said.
"Ok. I leave you to your room now, John. See you tomorrow." I said.
"Oh, yeah. See you tomorrow, Tif. Goodnight." John said. I went to my bedroom which was beside John's bedroom.
