Colton's POV

After a solemn farewell to all the fallen brethren of our Royal Pack, young Colton and I practice our fighting skill. He is quick-witted student. A quick learner.

"Spread your legs like this position," I said to him and show him the instance position. He easily gets. my instruction, very focused on what I am teaching to him.

"Hey, Colton! Colt! Stop your training. Let us have dinner first. Join us, Colt," Father said. My heartbeat fast as thinking of my mother. Oh, I will see my mother again, Casper. And I am so excited! I said to him. Me, too. I miss our mother. Casper reply.

" Ok, let us practice tomorrow morning. I said to Colt.

"Ok, come join us to our dinner." Young Colton said.

"Sure."

We follow our father. Inside the house, my mother is happily preparing our meal.

"Come, now, let us starts our dinner." As a mother puts the cooked meat at the table, raises her head, and looks for us. Her eyes grew big and she covered her mouth when she sees me. Stared ate for a jiff then look at the young Colt then look back at me again. Ah, Oh, I guess he recognizes us, Casper said. Do you think so? I reply. Yes, he said. Father and the young Colton sit in the chair while I follow them.

"Come on, Colt. Ah, Constancia, this is our new warrior and new friend of Colton. His name is Colt." Father said. Mother stared at me with moisture in her eyes. She is controlling her emotion. She holds my hand and hugs me.

"Oh, my child. It's good to see you." Mother said. Father and Colt furrow their brows. Mother loses her embrace and blinks her eyes not to fall her tears.

"Oh, come, Colt. Sit and have dinner with us." Mother said. Father clears his throat.

"Yes. Colt. Let's eat dinner."

"Yes," I said. It s my favorite dish at the table so I ate a lot. I missed my mother's cook. My mother stole a glance at me.

"Oh, by the way, Colt. When you arrive here at the Royal pack?" Father asked.

"I arrived today. The King's representative announced a few. days ago that he needs additional warriors in my village. So I travel here as a response and I was surprised that war is front of my eyes when I arrived here." I said. I told the truth. King Alpha Amoux announced the additional warriors for the Royal Pack this time, my memories don't miss the details to answer father's question. Thank Moon Goddess.

"Oh, so you have a relative here or friend?" My father asked. I choke. How should I answer him? I cannot tell them that they are family that I am their son, a mature version of young Colton. I shook my head.

"N-no. I haven't. I am alone here." I said.

"Oh, if it is that the case, I think Dolphus, he should stay here. Especially that he trains our Colton. Do you think?" Mother said.

"Hmm. Yes, Constancia. My wife is right. You stay here. We have a guest room for you to stay. What do you think?" Father said. I am glad about my parents' offer, especially my mom.

"Yehey! I have a big brother now. Can I call you, big brother?" Young Colton said. At this time, young Colton is 16 years old. I am longing for a brother but apparently, I was the only child of my parents.

"Sure! Why not?" I said happily. Colton smiled more and was happy before stuffing food into his mouth.y parents are both happy, too.

After dinner, mother took me to the guest room.

"Come here inside." As she opens the door of the guest room. I look at the room. It is the guest room I remember. Its motif is neutral and the design is pretty but not, too, masculine like my room.

"This is your room for a moment, " Mom said. I nod.

"Thank you m-ma, Maam Constancia," I said. She smile and held my hand again, brushing it with her palm.

"I know, you are my son, Colton. The big one. Am I right?" Mother said. I was not surprised but I still get emotional. I let my tears fall into my cheeks and hug my mother.

"Mother! Yes, it's me. I am Colton. The old one." I said. She embraces me tightly.

"Oh, my son. You grew big and matured. I am happy to see you like this. You are from the future, right?" Mother said.

"Yes." As I confirmed sniffing.

"How did you recognize me?" I asked. She chuckled.

"What a question? Who's mother couldn't recognize her flesh and blood? Even you are mature looking from my young Colton, now. Your face doesn't change in my eyes. You are my Colton. My baby. And did you forget that I, your mother is a witch?" As my mother hugs me again. My mother pulls my hand to sit on the bed.

"No, mother. I didn't forget. It's just I did not expect this." I said, sniffing. Hugging. my mother tightly.

"Oh, Come. Let sit here." As we both sit in the bed.

"Why? Are you here in the past my son?" My mother asks me.

"I do not know, mother. All I know is that I lost my consciousness after we follow Elliot and Allyson near the falls. A white smoke covered from feet to head and then I can't breathe and lost my consciousness. And when I woke up. I am inside in the forest. When I got outside the forest, it was a war.
