Talon Setting the water pitcher down on the back counter. I leaned against it, pulling my phone out of my apron. I didn’t know why, but I was feeling nervous and I couldn’t get past the feeling. Almost like something bad was coming. I swiped the screen open, checking my message. Hoping for one from Nevie that would put my nerves at ease. There was nothing.
