It was late afternoon when we finally arrived. I had decided to stay in London as the season had started already. I knew I had to establish my sister within society as well as reacquaint my self with society. It was important to do this as it would keep our cover.
As soon as the ship entered London harbor, there was a sigh of relief. I got us to London to safety, we just had to keep up a front and then we could return to my estate in Carlisle which was approximately 310 miles from London, very close to the Scottish Border. It would take us about 10 days to travel to my estate, so it was easier to just enjoy the season first and off-course establish our cover.
