A loud knock woke me up from my dream. I shifted off of Haven's bed as she slept in the corner huddled up like a fetus. I smiled and quickly jumped out of the bed as I heard the loud knock once again. My heart beat in my chest and I quickly looked inside my purse for Ezekiel's gun.
As I made my way to the door I could hear the soft snores come from the nursery as all four children slept. I peeked into the room and could see Juliet snuggled into Ashton's chest in one crib and Tyler slept with Aiden in the other.
The loud knock interrupted my thoughts once again. I tightened my grip on the gun and tiptoed my way to the door. Avoiding anything that could make noise.
