Alexa's POV
Auden turned away from me and I saw that he was about to leave. I was about to go with him but I instantly remembered Trevor and how he was presently being held by the guards. I wanted nothing to do with him, and I knew that this was my only chance to make him release Trevor and I wasn't ready to lose it.
As he was about to move away from me, I grabbed his hand to stop him. I was happy when he stopped and turned to face me. As he stared down at me, he looked concerned and I wondered why. When I felt the tears building up in my eyes, I knew why he looked worried.
