As Crissy concentrated on following the now-familiar winding road, Margot kept bombarding her with questions about the party. The two girls had become even closer after their weekend at Sky’s estate, the secret life they shared deepening the bonds between them, even though at work they kept their normal distance. To all outward appearances they remained just good friends. But now when they got together after work for a drink, it was different. Their friendship had deepened, grown more intimate.
