Sisters

Paris' POV I walked towards the city with the circus freaks following me. I have a feeling they are too afraid to hurt me. Wallis walks behind me, and I think the others are afraid of him. Then it hits me. What if a girl out there looks like her, and the wolves following her are confused between her and Princess London? They look like they are not actors in a role-play scenario. Won't they be dressed up in old English clothing? "Tell me more about this Princess of yours. Does she know how to fight?" I ask. "Princess, you know you do not have to fight, which is why we never trained you to fight. You are a Princess, and you have guards," Jeffrey says. "Well, I am not your Princess, and if I am here and my pack is not looking for me, it means they have your Princess. It will be best if you go and save her. I am not very popular in my pack," I say. "Very funny, Princess. You are not getting rid of us that easily," Jeffrey says. I sigh. I will have to go and see for myself if I am right or not. I can not leave the poor Princess in the claws of my pack. "Fine, I will take you to my pack, and we will have to see if they have your Princess," I say. I turn around and start walking back to the pack. I can not mind-link with them anymore as I broke the bond with the pack. It takes us about an hour to walk back to the pack, and when we cross the borders, I wait for the warriors of the Ravenstone pack as they will feel the rogue wolf and the others crossing into their territory. "Paris? What are you doing here? We left you at the packhouse where you insisted you were a Princess of the Kingdom of Essex," William the Delta Wolf in our pack. He is strong and third in command in our pack, and his son Red is friends with Mark. "Well, I am sorry to inform you, but I think you have the wrong girl. I think you are keeping the Princess of the Kingdom of Essex captured, and you will be in deep s**t. These are her men. They are looking for her and have mistaken me for her," I say. I can see William looks as confused as Jeffrey. "You captured our Princess? Wait until King George hears about this," Jeffrey says. He looks pissed off. I find this amusing until Wallis opens his big trap. "Wait, if Princess London is with them and you are here with us, but you smell and look like our Princess, it means you are also our Princess. You must be her sister or something," Wallis says. I look at Wallis, Jeffrey and the rest. William also looks uncomfortable, and he does not know what to do. "Who is your mother, Princess Paris?" Jeffrey asks. "Oh, for f**k sake, I am no Princess!" I shout. I am back in my pack and do not want to be here. How am I going to escape now? "My mother's name is Maren Sawyer, unfortunately. Now, if everyone is happy, I will take my leave. William, do not even try to stop me. You know you will be happy to be rid of me," I say. I started to walk to the border, but this time Wallis grabs me and holds on to me. "Not so fast, Princess Paris. Maren was the name of our Princess before she refused to marry Prince John of the Kingdom of Mercia and dumped us into a war that lasted until today," Wallis says. "Well, that sounds like something my selfish mother will do. Anyway, not my problem. I am leaving," I say. "No, you are not. You are coming with us," Jeffrey says. "Why? If I am here with Maren and London grew up with Grandpa George. Then he did not want me to start with. I am leaving. I do not care what you do or say, but I will not go to my grandparents, who I did not even know existed until now," I say as I try to escape Wallis' grip on me. "Princess, I do not want to hurt you. Please stand still," Wallis says. "Man! Are you stupid or something? I am not your Princess, and if I go back to that pack, I will live a miserable life for the rest of my existence if they don't kill me," I say. "I am not stupid! I am special! Princess London always says I am her special big teddy," Wallis says. "Damn, stop being so touchy. I just meant that you ... never mind. Let go of me, Wallis, and I will let you be my friend," I say. "No, if I let go of you, I will not see you again. Do not worry. This pack will not keep you here, and Wallis will take you to a safe place where they can not hurt you anymore, Princess Paris," Wallis says. Oh boy, I am in for a thing. I need to get away from Wallis, Jeffrey, their men and whoever this Princess London is, but first, I need to escape my pack again, and Wallis will greatly help me. "She is our pack member, and we will deal with her according to our rules. She tried to escape the pack, and it is punishable by death," William says. "She broke her bond with you, and you have no right to her. Princess Paris is of royal blood, and you will not touch a hair on her head!" Jeffrey says. "That is right! You will not touch a hair on my royal head, William," I say, feeling brave now that I have friends to protect me. "We will see about that. As she said, her grandfather probably doesn't even want her," William says. He is laughing in my face. "You are mistaken, kind sir. I am sure King George and Queen Victoria do not know about Princess Paris' existence. They will never let their grandchild be treated the way she has. Just look at her clothing! She deserves so much better," Jeffrey says. "Hey, what is wrong with my clothes? I like it," I say. I hope they will not put me in a dress with high heels. I will break my neck. I cannot walk in high heels even if you pay me a million dollars. Well, I will try for a million bucks, but I will probably break my neck. "Shut up, Princess," Both Jeffrey and William shout. "Wow, I am not even allowed to talk," I say. I know I need to keep my mouth shut, but I am about to be pulled into something I do not want to be a part of. All I want is my freedom, and now I am in the middle of a power struggle between my pack and a Kingdom I did not even know existed. "It does not help to stand around. Let's all go to the packhouse, and we can decide her fate," William says. I sigh. There goes my freedom, and I am sure wherever I end up, I will not be free to do as I like. We walk to the packhouse, and I see my mother and father standing outside, talking to each other. They see me, and my father walks over and hits me with a fist. I am shocked. Although my father never showed me any love for the last thirteen years, he never struck me before. "You little brat! You put our pack in grave danger! How dare you try to run away," My father says. He lifts his hand to strike me again, but Wallis grabs his hand and holds it. "You better not lift your hand to our Princess again, Carl Sawyer," Jeffrey says. I look at Jeffrey, and I frown. He knows my father. He should have known then that I was telling the truth when I said I was not London. What is going on here? I have a terrible feeling about Princess London and my fate as her sister if everything is true. "Jeffrey, hand Paris to me! We had a deal," My mother says, and I look at Jeffrey and frown again. So they knew about my existence. Well, at least Jeffrey did. "We need her, and you are no longer our princess Maren, so step aside and let us take what belongs to the kingdom," Jeffrey says. "Jeffrey! I am so glad you are here and can clear everything up," A girl that looks like me says. I look at her in shock. We are genuinely twins. We look like two drops of water, precisely the same. "Paris? I found my sister after all these years! I am so glad to meet you," London hugs me. Why does all of this feel so fake to me? Probably because it is. Something fishy is going on here, and I wouldn't say I like it. Everyone is quiet in the packhouse. "Hello, well, you do look like me," I say as I touch her nose to make sure she is real, although she just hugged me. I can not believe my eyes as I stare at her. "Hahaha, I can see no one told you about our grandparents or me," The girl, I presume, is London, says. "Nope, no one tells me anything, and I always have to find out the truth the hard way," I say, looking at my mother. I think my mother knows I know about Ben and was relieved when I ran away, but now I am back, and she is glaring at me with a warning in her eyes. "Well, I assume you are my parents, that gave me away at birth," London says as she stares at my mother and father. "You can be glad they gave you away. It is not fun being their child," I say. "Why? Did they mistreat you?" London asks. "We did not mistreat her at all," My father says. "Well, then, who struck her?" London asks. "I was mad and did not mean to hit her, but she did put the whole pack in danger, and she will pay dearly for it," My father says. "No, she will not. Paris is coming with me," London says. I feel she is unhappy with the pack, and I bet they made fun of her when she proclaimed herself Princess of the Kingdom of Essex. They must have thought I had gone off my head. "Maden, can you please explain to us what the hell is going on here?" Alpha Henry says, his deep voice shutting everyone up. "I was once the Princess of Essex, but my father wanted me to marry Prince John from the Kingdom of Mercia. He was not my mate. Carl and I met when I came to study here, and I knew he was my mate. I got pregnant and ran away with Carl. That is when my father disowned me as it caused a war between Mercia and Essex. My father came to America the night my twins were born, and he and Jeffrey made a deal with me. He will let me live if I give him London," My mother says. "You knew who I was from the start!" I shout at Jeffrey. "Of course I did, Princess, but I needed you to take me to your sister so that I could save her and you, of course," Jeffrey says. I glare at him, knowing there is more to this than meets the eye. Jeffrey said they needed me. For what? I am not going to go to England! I have my whole life ahead of me. All I want is freedom. Is that too much to ask? "I am taking my sister, and there is nothing anyone of you can do unless you want to let my father's army destroy your whole pack. Mother and Father, it was a pleasure meeting you. Maybe we will see each other again soon," London says as she looks at Mark, who is almost drooling over London. Then it hits me. If Mark was my mate and he rejected me, and I accepted it, does that make him the mate of my twin sister? I am sure they will share the same bond Mark, and I once shared. I smile as I look at Mark and London. I hope she knows what a douchebag he is.
