Tula swallowed audibly and clutched her beaded shawl tighter around her. She looked around as if afraid someone was eavesdropping before leaning her frizzy head of hair in close to them. “The Alpha issued a decree that any member of his pack wanting to work in London has to get permission from him,” Tula whispered. “That’s pretty much a formality just to make sure all alphas know the whereabouts of their pack members,” Janet responded with furrowed brows wondering why it was such a big deal.
