The race date arrived and the team was ready. We were dismissed from school for 4 days, and the two vans took the bikes and our bags.
As always, we arrived and went straight to the hotel. We took the rooms, two by two, and obviously, Lucas and I stayed together.
We promised each other to stay focused on the race. There was no time for f***s and stuff. We were the youngest co-captains of the team, because that was how it was decided as a group. We were the strongest cyclists and we had proof of it from our high school days, so we couldn't be distracted by s*x.
