A few hours later, situated behind the steering wheel of Ian’s Nissan Rogue, Stephan navigated the slushy, salty streets. Normally Ian was a stickler for not letting anyone else drive his precious baby, however, even he agreed that it might be best if he relegated himself to the passenger seat. Which was where he currently sat, hands shoved between his knees, a look of horror in his eyes. If not for the country tunes oozing out of the speakers, Stephan swore he might actually be able to hear Ian’s heart with each thundering beat.
