CONNOR'S POV I knew it might take a while to carry out our plans, so I decided to stay back in one of my suites in Manchester. Going back to the house when Jesse's words were still playing in my head was not the smartest decision and I wasn't sure I was ready to face Annette after that. Jesse was just an asshole and possibly didn't even know the meaning of all the things he said. I sipped my drink as I thought, my mind whirling and blurring everything around me. Up until I felt a warm breath and a harsh voice shooting into my eardrums. "You look like you just lost your balls, brother," it was Jesse. As I looked to my side, the muffled sounds got clearer and louder, reminding me of where I was. It's been five days since I left home, all curled up in my room and going over the plans
