A sumptuous dinner of garlic butter fried rice, sunny side up eggs, grilled freshly caught fish, grilled half a cob of corn, stir-fried vegetables and herbal bear paw soup.
"Leader, please allow us to grind for monsters to keep levelling up before the day of battle. We are mostly on Level 5 now and hope to be on Level 6 before the final showdown."
"Permission granted. Don't make yourself too tired, okay? Have an early rest tonight and spare 2 hours of your time after breakfast to prepare the spring up punji sticks and we will lay them down on the day of the battle."
...
"Tear them down!"
--------
"For justice!"
--------
"Leave none alive!"
--------
"We never tire!"
--------
"Death comes tomorrow!"
Battle cries rung out as Swordsman, Barbarians and we stood our ground and the Archers and Amazonian Fighters began to close in 200 meters now.
The Skeleton King was the first one to be brought down with a bombardment of Psi energy arrows as it crumbled to the ground and broke apart, becoming not a single mass of bones but transformed into a dozen of Skeleton Soldiers instead.
The orcs and skeletons were taken aback since they had never expected an unseen force of barrage tracks coming from nowhere and were descending on them at all angles.
The army of orcs, skeletons and an army of warriors fight each other without giving much reason, but this battle has yet to find its winning side. The dead and wounded of the orcs and skeletons side are abundant and lay in heaps around the plain grounds.
The faces of the Barbarians and Swordsman are hopeful with boots stepping firmly and eyes searching their surroundings, they fight their enemy in an equal battle.
With the uncertainty of battle coursing through their minds, the other orcs and skeletons do whatever it can in order to try to defeat their enemies. Some have succumbed to panic and are no longer capable of moving, let alone defending themselves, while others just wish all this was over.
And the humans had not suffered a single casualty and the smell of victory is in the air among the putrid smell of burning orcs skin.
....
"I can do this, as I've done this a hundred times before. Feel my blade across your necks and taste your own blood on your mouths...!!!" thought an Assassin as she brought down the last Healer and then threw a green coloured smoke bomb signalling that the Marauder Chief Orc is the last demon standing on the battlefield.
----------
Charge forward...Victory is ours...!!!
Barbarians, Swordsman and the 4 of is forged forward the moment we saw the green smoke emitting from the hills near the teleportal stone and the Assassins were guarding the entrances not letting the Marauder Chief Orc through. 10 sharp blades are ready to penetrate the scaly, armoured, Marauder Chief Orc tough skin and it had nowhere to go unless either to surrender to the humans or execute the last frail attempt to prevent capture.
The Marauder Chief Orc fell down to its knees and accepted the date of the oncoming onslaught as all of us had stomped our way amidst the bones and burning bodies of the rest of the orcs, broken weapons and armour as well as shields strewn across the plain grounds.
"STAND UP AND WIELD YOUR WEAPON..." I commanded the Marauder Chief Orc as I breathed heavily, my Heaven and Earth Splitting Divine Sword was soaked in bluish orcs' blood and was dripping at the tip as I pointed the blade at it.
"I DON'T STRIKE AN UNARMED OPPONENT..." once again I shouted in bold caps as the Marauder Chief Orc slowly picked itself from its kneeling position and took up its shield and staff. With eyes burning with rage, it suddenly surged forward and lunged itself at me.
The battle between Leaders is now taking place as it tried to strike down with its staff with a human child skull at the end of it. I took a misstep sideways and avoided the strike, just inches away from my left arm. The surrounding adventures have us some space for the last duel to take place and had made a circle of death around us.
I strikeout with a jumping downward swing at the Orc and it managed to block my incoming stroke with its round shield, with one eye drawn on it. *CLANG* My Heaven and Earth Splitting Divine Sword deflected on the shield and suddenly the Marauder Chief Orc was frothing at his mouth. Despite my Sword being deflected from the shield, I managed to twirl around and deliver a smash on the left-back, splitting the heavy studded leather strap that held his body armour.
Taken by surprise, the Orc stabbed at my direction and I managed to dive forward to safety and when I recovered, I delivered another smash on his right back, splitting again the studded leather strap that was holding his armour up. Basically, it looks like I'm going to strip this Orc piece by piece.
Angered at being easily struck twice, it peeled away from its studded leather body armour and stood there, frothing at its mouth and with eyes as red as hot embers. Flailing his staff wildly in the air, throwing caution to the wind, the Marauder Chief Orc rushes forward and thinking it got nothing to lose since this would be its last battle.
I took the chance to unleash 2 upward strikes from left and the right before I leapt upwards and somersaulted and delivered a horizontal s***h at the back of its neck before I landed deftly to the ground and delivered 2 lamb chops over the Marauder Chief Orc's knees. The 80 over strong NVA was cheering wildly as the watched it fell to its knees while holding to the back of its neck that now had a gaping wound.
I kicked at the back of the head using a spinning back thrust and an audible c***k can be heard as the Marauder Chief Orc screamed in agony. Just before it fell to the ground face first, it thought to himself, "Why must it end like this? This is not how I wanted it to end, this is not how I want to die. But it's not like I have a choice now, there's nothing I can do. I just wish it was over already, just let me die."
I leapt up and smashed the sword on the back of the neck, severing its fingers as it held to the gaping wind and I managed to decapitate its head successfully. Bluish warn blood spurted out and coloured the green fields with it. I wiped my Sword on the back of the Orc before I replaced it back to my scabbard.
"Pick up all the broken pieces of armour and weapons and bring it back to Camp Salvation," I said as the battle ended as soon as it started and I felt overly tired once again and I felt like blacking out again. Cheers of victory sounded through the plains as the fallen were stripped of their weapons and armour while other spoils of war were kept by the finders themselves.
The villagers of Barkston Ash came out to greet us and prepared a small feast after we had cleansed ourselves from the blood of the fallen orcs. It was a considerable amount of assorted kinds weapons used by the 2 armies, while studded leather armours, helms, gauntlet, boots and all kind of shields of various sizes, shapes and make was gathered.
"Please help us to gather these bones to make a bone meal for our land cultivation. Thank you." I explained to some farmers as they prepared sacks to gather as many bones as they could, and in a way to take care of the environment as well.
"How about the Orcs? Would we be doing anything to them?" asked a villager from Barkston Ash.
"Just dig a mass grave and throw them inside before lighting them up. My men here would take an hours rest before they help you to throw in the dead bodies. Their possessions would be stripped and brought back with us." I replied and I fell heavily on a chair as I felt a sense of giddiness.
"Can I have very sweet tea, please...I think I've got my hypoglycemia again..." I requested from Matilda as she went to look for tea but ended up with a can of Sarsi instead. Well, no one is watching but reading this as I pulled back the tab and inserted a straw in and slowly sipped the carbonated soda drink.
After the small feast prepared by the villagers of Barkston Ash, the 80 men began to dig a mass grave with the help of several excavators, and threw in the stripped bodies of orcs and lighting them up.
All the weapons and armours were loaded into 4 excavators and were sent back to Camp Salvation where it would be my turn to turn these broken pieces of junk into my upcoming projects.

We had a 3-day break from grinding, mining and battling other monsters and all the 80 adventurers were cleaning their weapons and armour and reported back how many blunt arrowheads they left that had been imbued with Kamehameha and Psi energies.
The fruits and vegetables had been doing great and would be able to harvest them in 2 days time since I had placed my Psi energy spheres on the pile of sediments and minerals dredged up from the river banks before I left that grounds on the initial day.
Everything was lush green and the corn stalks had grown to Will.I.Am's height and baby corns can be seen sprouting from the top.
Normal corn plantation would have 2 to 3 corn ears per stalk, but with the Psi energy imbued in the sediments and minerals used as compost, there are at least 5 to 8 corn ears from each stalk. There's 150 corn stalk growing and would be enough to feed our men in replace of rice, gruel or oatmeal on some days.
The 80 adventurers spent time selling off their flints, stones, leaves and silkworm to the NPC that virtually buy anything from the adventurers. The 80 adventurers were at ease and were left to their own tasks at hand. The last battle had nearly everyone raised to Level 5 while some were already at their peak of advancing to Level 6. Matilda, Stef and Jean Lethal had all breezed past and now were all Level 7.
During those 3 days, I had gone to the Realm of Mind after I had moved all the broken weapons and armour there and did some experiments.
"All these are unknown classes of whether they are Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary but these would be worth a try." as I picked up a studded armour and pair with another similar piece in the Fusion Chamber. I selected the slider to FUSE / ARMOUR and pulled the lever after closing the door.
