Lola realised that Lamar was fast asleep when he stopped responding to her. She crawled out of bed, hot dressed and walked into the lounge. Diana curled up on the couch again when she saw Lola. Lola cursed under her breath, filled with guilt. “Please, don’t be scared. I come in peace,” Lola urged, regretfully. Diana looked at her in disbelief, wondering if she was up to something. “I am so sorry for taking out my frustrations on you. I was jealous of you and unreasonable.
