The sacrifice
Lamar laid on the floor with a cold pistol barrel pressed against his temple. Lola also laid on the floor next to him. He could see her whole body shaking and the terror in her eyes he knew matched his. He wanted to reach out to her, be brave for her and tell her that everything would be okay but that would be a lie. This was probably their last moments alive because the man who stood over him was known to be ruthless and a cold-blooded murderer.
“I have nothing right now, man. Please, one more chance. I swear I will pay you back,” Lamar pleaded with a shaky voice.
“You said that a month ago. I want my money now or I am pulling this trigger,” Scar said, meaning every word. He had given the two more than enough time to get his money, his patience had run out. As a loanshark, he had to maintain his reputation or risk others not paying him back.
Lamar closed his eyes, sweat running down his face, ready to take his last breath.
They had sold off all their devices and even their expensive clothes to try to pay off their debts, but the money was not enough. They were owing Scar too much money and there was no one they knew with that amount of money to help them out.
Lola whimpered, tears rolling down her cheeks. She never thought that their lives would end like this. They had not even completed their studies or enjoyed life to the fullest.
Scar’s eyes turned on to Lola, who laid down in her silky nightwear. He could see her perfect cleavage and legs and heat started rising from his belly.
“There are other ways you could pay off my money,” he suggested, looking lustfully at Lola. ”You are a gorgeous woman, for instance,” he added.
“No,” Lamar said firmly, opening his eyes and attempting to get up. A quick death for both of them he was willing to take, but there was no way he would let him have his way with Lola. He would be dead first and die fighting before that happened.
“Relax kid, I don’t force myself on women, there are too many b***h*s out there willing to give it up. I’m too civilised for that sh*t,” Scar said, reading through him and placing his massive boot over his neck to keep him down.
“If I did, would you leave us alone?” Lola asked, still shaking.
“Lola, no,” Lamar said softly.
“You are a smart girl, I like that. A body like yours, one hour, willing and raw, we will call it even,” Scar said with a grin, already salivating.
“I’ll do it,” Lola said decisively, looking away to avoid Lamar’s eyes.
“Lola,” Lamar called to her softly.
“We can’t die, Lamar,” she said decisively. “Please go,” she pleaded.
Lamar sighed, tears rolling down his cheeks for the first time that night. Lola sacrificing herself to save them felt worse than death.
“I’ll be outside, please don’t hurt her,” he said before walking out and sitting with his back on the door.
Scar did not bother responding to Lamar, his eyes were now glued on Lola.
“Now gorgeous, let’s get you off those clothes. I want to see all of you,” Scar said with a voice raw with desire. Lola looked so alluring standing, he could see the impression made by her nippl*s through the thin silky top.
Lola flinched and swallowed her saliva as her stomach revolted, threatening to expel everything she ate that day.
“It’s a once off thing to save your lives. This is better than death,” she told herself, letting Scar undress her before undressing himself.
“Damn! You are hot!” Scar exclaimed. “My spear wants some love, gorgeous, how about a taste?” he asked.
Lola gaged, taking his manhood in her mouth
“Remember, willingly,” he reminded her.
Lola nodded
**An hour later***
Scar walked out with a huge grin and found Lamar sitting outside the door.
“Your woman is quite something, kid. Rare jewel, I tell you,” he said.
Lamar clenched his teeth and fists, no longer caring for the gun Scar was holding.
“Relax kid, it was just a fu*k, a friekin great fu*k,”Scar said. “Oh, your debts are wiped clean. Let me know when you need another loan,” he added before walking away.
Lamar punched the wall hard, a sharp pain piercing through his heart. All of this was his fault. So much had gone wrong in the past six months. In an attempt to fend for his family and continue with his studies, he had ended up gambling. Everything went so well at first. His charms and charisma were good asserts and saw him win really big. His winning spree had continued for two full months until Lola got into gambling too. Lola had also secured big wins but that all changed in the third month. They both lost a lot of money and started taking loans from Scar, hoping to win big again, but they kept losing. Before they knew it, their debt was too much.
Running into the room to check on Lola, he found her kneeling in front of the toilet, throwing up.
“Are you okay?”Lamar asked. “Stupid question, don’t answer....,”
He was about to rush to her side when he gagged, his stomach also revolting. He ran to the sink and threw up until all he could taste was the bitter taste of his bile. He thought he had nothing else to throw up until he saw Lola take out her toothbush and frantically brushing her teeth, every part of her mouth and pushing the brush deep in her throat despite the gagging and throwing up in between.
He did not have to ask the reasons for her actions, but the imagination of what she had to do sent him back to the sink.
Two hours later, after stripping her bed and throwing away the linen, her sleepwear and lingerie she wore in the trash, Lola sat on the bed in a daze. She had taken an hour and half long shower but still felt so dirty.
“I am sorry,” Lamar said, sitting next to her.
“It was my decision,” she said with a voice devoid of emotion.
“Still, I…,”
“Can we just forget that this ever happened?”she interjected. “Please,” she added.
Lamar nodded, praying that his brain could wipe out the sound of Scar moaning and groaning from his head too.
They silently laid in each other’s arms that night, but their dreams were haunted by Scar.
The following day, the two silently woke up to prepare to attend their lectures. They both looked emotionally drained in their own worlds as they walked to their different classes, each one with too much in their heads and both hardly slept. It was only thirty minutes after the lecturer started talking that the lack of sleep took over and Lola could not keep her eyes opened.
“Lola Hudson!” the lecturer called, walking towards her.
Lola had her head over her desk, fast asleep and did not even hear her name being called.
All the students turned to look at her before exchanging mischievous looks and remarks.
“I guess Lamar keeps her awake all night,” one said, green with envy.
“I don’t blame her, they are both hot, I bet they can’t keep their hands off each other,” another one responded.
“She’s not that hot,” Stephany snapped. She was just tired of people complementing the couple when she was more beautiful than Lola. Then there was Lamar rejecting her even when she literally presented herself on a silver platter for him.
“Lola Hudson!” the lecturer shouted, now standing directly over her.
Lola jumped up, her eyes widened and her heart pounding.“No! Don’t touch me!” she shouted, terrified. The nightmare she had was still running in her head.
“Hey, calm down kid. Take deep breaths,” the lecturer said, trying to calm the obviously startled pupil. Lola looked really spooked and drenched in sweat.
Lola looked around at all her classmates who were all curiously staring at her before taking her bag and running out. She ran as fast and as long as her exhausted feet could carry her. She was breathless and numb by the time she reached her flat. Opening the blankets, she got in still shaking and covered herself.
***Thirty minutes later****
Lamar had just come out of his lecture when he met the last person he wanted to see.
“Hey Lamar, you might want to check on your girlfriend, she might be going coo coos,” Stephany said, unable to hide her grin.
Lola losing her mind might just be what she needs to get what she wants.
Lamar ignored her remarks and asked one of Lola’s classmates what the matter was. He learned six months ago that when he almost lost Lola that the less he interacted with Stephany, the better.
He sighed when he discovered what had happened to Lola and went to find her.
“If you ever want a normal girlfriend, you know where to find me,” Stephany said, but Lamar ignored her and continued walking.
He was relieved when he opened Lola’s door and saw her sleeping. Undressing himself, he opened the bedsheets and slipped in beside her. Lola flinched when he touched her.
“It’s me,” he said before pulling her closer to him.
Lola froze, memories of the night before taking over her.
“It’s me, your man. Lets wipe off all his memories. Let’s bury him, forever,” he said before kissing her neck.
“I slept with another man, aren’t you disgusted?” Lola asked. Besides Scar’s memories, that was also what worried her.
“Woman, you saved my life and I love you,” Lamar responded, surprised that she would even ask that.
“I love you too,” she confessed, hugging him closer.
“Oh, I know,” he said mischievously before lifting her chin up and kissing her passionately until Scar’s memories faded off.
“Lamar,” Lola called.
“Mmh?”
“I don’t want this, I want…,” she hesitated.
“You want?” Lamar asked, lifting his head to look at her.
“I want our normal hot, steamy, physical and passionate s*x,” she said. Right now, Lamar was holding her like she was going to break down and that was not what she wanted.
He chuckled before getting off her and getting on his feet off the bed.
“You want this, come get it,” he said seductively, walking backwards towards the wall.
Lola got out of bed and followed him. Her heart already pounding but from excitement this time. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she lifted her leg before he pulled her up, lifting both her legs. Positioning himself inside her, he turned around, pressing her and rocking her against the wall.
A few minutes later, they both mourned and scr*amed with pleasure until they were completely undone. They stayed in bed and made love the whole day, successfully burying Scar’s hold and memories to never mention him again.
