We had just got done in the Alpha’s office. As we were walking out, my dad calls me back inside. “I will catch up with you. Tell Ellie I shouldn’t be long.” I say turning back around to see my father standing at his desk looking at me. I walk back inside. “Close the door.” He says to me, and I sigh knowing that it is going to be something important. Gad…. I just want one day of peace with my soon to be wife.
