Chapter 12: All A Facade

1492 Words

“Shot! Shot! Shot!" Everyone cheered excitedly as we all raised our shot glasses clinking them together. I drank the shot carelessly and took a deep breath, taking in my surroundings. They were so many people packed in the dorm that it felt crowded; people were either dancing, drinking, smoking, or making out. Although everyone was doing something different, we all had something in common. We wanted to have fun. We wanted to forget about our hard lives at school, professors, midterms…all of it. For me, it was always my personal life. I liked being surrounded by people who won't judge me. It was nerve-wracking.
