She is insufferable, she’s hard headed, she’s driving me crazy.
“Maybe if you weren’t such an a**hole she wouldn’t be like that towards you” Ares says to me
“We have rules Ares, she’s not exempt from them just because she’s my mate and the Princess.” I tell him
“Maybe you should listen to her. You still enforce the rules your father did, he’s cast a dark shadow over your reputation and you know it. You can’t be afraid of him forever.” He says
“You were with me Ares, you went through the same things I did with him. You know the lengths he will go to get what he wants. If she doesn’t comply she could be putting herself in harms way.” I tell him
“She is a Lycan, it is your father who should comply to her. If you don’t change we will lose her and I will leave you. We’ve waited 33 years for her and I won’t lose Rain because you’re too scared to tell your father to f**k off.” He snaps at me.
If she knew what my father really wants me to do she would hate me. She would never forgive me. My father has hated her family since him and Aroras father fought for the throne. My father lost and Aroras father Maximus was turned Lycan and named King of the Royal Palace. I don’t think Arora knows that, I want to tell her and open up to her about why I am the way I am. I want to go after her to explain everything but she’s too angry right now
